So basically. I’ve always been scared to the coming of Christ. Of the rapture. Anytime I see someone talking about it. I have a panick attack and feel like I’m gonna throw up. The only thing that scares me more is the idea of eternal suffering in hell. As obviously the day closes nearer to the end of the world. I get more freaked out. I’m shaking typing this. So, I’ve always believed and loved God and Jesus. I’ve never had a bible nor have I ever read it. I try to follow the rules as much as I can. But I’m petrified of the end. Idk what to do. I’ve always been a happy person, and always felt like I’ve had some form of a relationship with God. Yes, I haven’t been the best at praying and keeping up with it all. (In the past few years I’ve been trying more). But, idrk what else I can do to grow closer. Idek if it’s too late. The last thing I want is to go to hell. Heaven or the new earth is my goal. As corny as that sounds. But again, I’m not that close to God. I will say though. I’ve always known I’ve been protected from stuff through him. My family always has. But that’s not really much ig. Idk. I’m struggling to come to terms with the idea of going to hell. Of my family and friends going to hell. Or let alone anyone. I can’t wrap my head around it. Anytime I think of it at all, I feel like throwing up. I’m generally sacred of a lot of stuff, but nothing to this level. If I were to get a bible. How do I no it’s the right one? How do I no I have enough time to read it? (I’m not that good at committing to reading). I’m so damn scared. I have no clue what to do. I’m trying to stay off social media, cause all I see is stuff about the end of the world. But it’s everywhere. Idk what to do.

The Bible is the one and only divine Scripture on this earth. Without reading the Bible, one can never reach the depth of true faith, for the Bible is not merely words on a page; every word within it becomes the foundation of living experience, tested and embodied in daily life. Without reading the Word of God, one cannot know His holy will, nor discern whether the shepherd guiding them is true, false, or nothing more than a self-proclaimed cult leader. Because many do not hold fast to the Bible as the standard, they fall prey to teachings where human opinions and human sermons are exalted, deified, and turned into doctrines that enslave, rather than setting free. Instead of becoming servants of God through His Word, the majority become slaves to false leaders who cunningly exploit the Word, appearing as shepherds of God, yet leading people to believe not in God but in man, becoming servants of man rather than servants of the living Word. This must be feared and warned against, for in doing so, one sells not only their life but also their very soul into hell.

Suppose, like a blind man, you are surrounded by false shepherds who each proclaim themselves. One says, “This wide and smooth road to the right is the gate of heaven.” Another says, “No, the beautiful and abundant way to the left is the gate of heaven.” Thus they lead with deception and lies. But if the gate of heaven is neither to the right nor to the left as they claim, then the very moment you follow their way, you fall into hell. The shepherd whom God sends speaks differently: “The gate of heaven is not the wide, smooth, and abundant road, but rather a narrow and difficult path, not to the right nor to the left, but behind—through a thorny way where walking is hard, even unto the cliff of death itself that must be risked.” Yet most people still pursue the wide, smooth, and seemingly sweet road. Which path will you walk? The nature of man is to lend an easy ear to flattering words, sweet praise, and gentle approval, becoming quickly tamed by them; but the same human nature despises, rejects, and refuses the rebuke and admonition that point out one’s faults.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.(Matthew 7 : 13~14)

A faith that is taught only with smooth and easy words, and that is practiced merely by hearing, produces neither power as small as a mustard seed, nor any proof, nor fruit. Such a faith is not the working of God’s power that follows after the love of God and operates through the living Word of Scripture, but rather a deception born from the misuse of Scripture—where men exalt themselves above the Word and impose their confused claims, interpretations, and explanations. Deceived by such falsehoods, people become enslaved to evil habits that can do nothing but repeat sin throughout their entire lives, and in the end their condition is no different from that of unbelievers.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.(Matthew 17 : 20)

A faith that only utters smooth and easy words, showing neither power as small as a mustard seed, nor any proof, nor fruit, is nothing but a false spirit. It is not the living Word of Scripture where the power of God works in pursuit of His love, but a distortion born of men who misuse the Word, who exalt themselves above it, and whose tangled claims, interpretations, and explanations produce falsehood. Deceived by such lies, many become enslaved to evil habits, condemned to repeat sin throughout their entire lives, and in this, they are no different from those who do not believe at all.

Therefore, know this well: the Bible is your lifeline. If your faith begins not with the Word of God, but only with the pursuit of personal happiness, blessing, success, comfort, and security, then from the very beginning you stand as an adversary and enemy of God, who is Himself the source of love. All of this is written within the Scriptures.

If your faith is built only on sweet-sounding love, on forming what appears to be a gentle and peaceful household, on gaining soothing comfort and tender security, or on the hope that every problem will be quickly solved—if it is driven by worldly ambitions and ideals, shaped by flattering teachings and sentimental emotions that merely lead you into repeating sin all your days—then before God you are not only like the unbelievers of the world but even greater enemies of Him.

For in a fleshly life that pursues the world and the desires of the body, which are the very root of sin, all men—whether they claim to believe in God or not—can only repeat sin endlessly. This is why the Scripture commands us to forsake everything and to take up our cross. Unless the Word of God is the unshakable center, faith will quickly be deceived by sermons that promise instant solutions, flatter your hopes and ideals, and turn you into slaves of religion and servants of men who claim to teach, dragging you wherever they will.

The path of Christ is the path of suffering and sacrifice. A faith that merely teaches with words, or that only listens for a lifetime, as so many Christians now practice, avoiding the suffering, sacrifice, and labor of the love of the cross, is but a dead faith. It is an intellectual, academic, theoretical, and emotional belief of the head and the senses, not the living faith of the spirit. Such faith is for the flesh, not for God.

I earnestly beseech you: become children of love who truly walk the path of Christ’s suffering. This will bring you into a right understanding of Scripture, and will awaken in you the true necessity and supreme importance of the Word of God. Without fruit and proof founded on the Word, there can be no salvation. Go to the Moses’ Burning Bush site, and lay down the very foundation of your faith.
