False Faith and False Salvation

Your faith, from the very beginning, has not been a faith that follows the love of Christ—a love that sacrifices even one’s own life—nor a faith that takes up your own cross and walks the narrow, constricted, thorn-filled path of Christ’s suffering, persecution, and self-denial. Instead, it has followed the broad and easy road that is convenient, pleasant, and oriented only toward your own comfort, blessing, and security. As a result, you have pursued a false salvation and a false spirit—both of which are absent from Scripture—and a shameless faith that leans only on words, theories, emotions, and intellectual arguments, without even feeling the pangs of conscience.

In other words, because you have shed tears only for the sake of worldly and fleshly blessings—the very root of sin—and because you have lived a life that can only pile up sin endlessly, like Esau, you have never reached the repentance of rebirth. Your conscience (spirit) has been dulled to the point where it cannot even feel guilty, becoming a shameless faith. From the beginning, your faith has followed the desires and lusts of the flesh, and therefore you could never possess prayers that arise from a good heart and a pure conscience.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.(Hebrews 12 : 16~17)

Today, the prayers of most religious people and Christians—born out of passion, fiery zeal, and self-assertive confidence—are nothing more than vain prayers shaped by the desires and cravings of human flesh, seeking only blessings, success, ideals, happiness, and personal comfort that arise from their own lust and ambition.

Thus many people pray with their heads and intellect; in other words, they have been offering fleshly prayers led by Satan, who disguises himself as God—prayers that God cannot hear. Prayer must be done with the heart and with the spirit. Yet human beings who do not possess the gifts of God do not even know what a spiritual prayer is, nor what a fleshly prayer is. Even pastors today, who claim to teach about God, cannot distinguish between a prayer of the spirit, a prayer of the heart, and a prayer of the flesh.

For those who follow God’s love, who pursue the hope of Christ, and who live with the goal of embodying the life of Christ, the prayer of the spirit—where the power of God truly works—is not a prayer done with the head and intellect, nor with emotions or fiery temperament. It is not a prayer born from human will or determination. Yet most people pray only fleshly prayers in which Satan inevitably works, prayers driven by their own intellect and reasoning.

All their prayers resemble the world: prayers about family problems, business problems, relationship problems, workplace problems, children’s problems, and health problems—nothing more than worldly anxieties. But a true Christian does not live or die for themselves. Therefore, instead of praying for their own benefit, they pray for the pain, tears, suffering, and mourning of others, and they pray only for God to remove their own weaknesses, shame, and evil habits so they may be worthy to receive the power of God’s love. This is the difference between a “Christian” in name and a true follower of Christ.

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.(John 10 : 17)

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.(1 John 3 : 16)

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.(Romans 14 : 7)

A true Christian neither lives nor dies for themselves, and therefore does not seek anything for themselves. Their own blessings, happiness, satisfaction, ideals, success, or comfort are all nailed to the cross. The one who has been crucified with Christ seeks only the will of God, and prays toward the hope of Christ that follows the love of Christ. The prayer of Christ is a prayer of the spirit and a prayer of the heart; it is the spirit that praises and the heart that sings hymns. Anyone who does not understand this is, without exception, completely blind—someone who does not even know what the spirit (conscience) is, a blind person leading another blind person who knows nothing of the reality of the spirit.

Today, all the fleshly prayers offered by religious people and Christians—prayers done with the head and intellect—are vain prayers and detestable divinations that can only repeat sin throughout their entire lives. Prayers of divination that seek blessings, happiness, success, ideals, and comfort only for oneself are 100% vain prayers that pile up sin, prayers led by Satan. The height of today’s Christian arrogance is that they believe that simply praying inside a church, or praying “in the name of God,” or “in the name of Christ,” or kneeling under the cross, means that God and Christ hear every word. In reality, such prayers are where demons work and Satan operates: the sorcery and divination empowered by the god of this world, the god of the flesh, the god of materialism and greed, the god of lust and desire, the god of thoughts and delusions, the god of knowledge and theory, the god of willpower and self-assurance, the god of temper and self-exaltation—all of them disguising themselves as God and as Christ.

A lifetime of faith and prayer devoted only to one’s own worldly and fleshly comfort, consolation, and blessing is nothing but prayer driven by the lust and desire of the world and the flesh, completely forgetting the holy will of God and the love of Christ. In other words, it is faith driven by the lust and desire of the flesh—the very root of sin that causes a person to repeat sin endlessly throughout their life. It is faith born of the evil nature of the flesh that can do nothing but repeat sin. I ask you: do you have any practice, any actions, or any heart before God that could be worthy of reward or grace? For those who are merely creatures who repeat sin their entire lives to consider themselves God’s children, to act as though they are followers of Christ—such arrogance forgets sin, and instead turns their repeated sins into something excusable and justifiable by relying on their own thoughts and judgments. This fleshly faith forgets the holy will of God, and it is nothing but pride, falsehood, and a life that repeats sin without end.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.(Matthew 10 : 37~39)

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.(Mark 8 : 35)

The path of Christ is not a convenient, comfortable, or pleasant path. It is a path accompanied by suffering, much labor, and sacrifice. It is the thorn-covered road one walks while carrying one’s own cross, with full strength and with the resolve to lay down even one’s own life. This path is not walked by religious people who rely on human will, determination, or personal resolve, but by those who walk with the power of God, where the love of God actively works. It is not the fleshly faith that follows the nature and habits of the body, which can only repeat sin throughout one’s life, but the path that leads one to receive the power of God that kills the evil habits of humans who cannot help but repeat sin. It is the path of following the shepherd of truth, who leads you to bear the fruit and evidence of love.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.(John 3 : 3)

Today, the majority of all religions and most Christians do not even know that the human body is the very vessel of Satan, and thus it is inevitably the blind leading the blind. Forgetting the fundamental reason that the human flesh, bound to sin, produces the instinct that cannot help but repeat sin, the repentance and prayers of Christians—who only wish for forgiveness of their endlessly repeated sins—hold no true value. They are nothing more than empty reflections and momentary awakenings, not the repentance of rebirth in Christ.

In other words, repentance that remains trapped in the lifelong slavery of sinful habits—unable to escape the condition of repeating sin endlessly—cannot be the repentance of rebirth in Christ. It is nothing more than the self-reflection, regret, and self-awareness that any person in the world can perform. It is not the repentance of Christ in which the power of God works to destroy sin.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.(Romans 8 : 13~14)

By human awakening, resolve, determination, enthusiasm, or willpower alone, it is absolutely impossible to escape the evil habits of human beings who can only repeat sin. One is reborn by the power of God working within the hope of Christ—within the love that operates in those who pursue God’s love and hold the hope of Christ. In other words, it is to obtain the truth of God that leads a person to receive the mighty power of God that kills the evil habits of humanity, which cannot help but repeat sin.

All human thoughts, reasoning, judgments, standards, and centers that follow the nature of the flesh are enemies of God, opponents of God, and the greatest Satan before Him. This is why, in the flesh, there is nothing but sin.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.(2 Corinthians 12 : 7)

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.(John 8 : 44)

For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.(Romans 11 : 32)

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.(Ephesians 2 : 2~3)

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.(Psalms 51 : 5)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 8)

God’s children do not commit sin. Likewise, a true Christian is freed from sin. Therefore, if sin continues to be repeated, that person is neither a child of God nor a true Christian. They are only regarded as if they were God’s child for a time. As it is written in Hosea: “I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved” (Romans 9:24).

The truth is this: a person is led into becoming a perfect child of God—liberated from sin—not by their own will or determination, but by being reborn, changed, and transformed through the mighty power of God that appears within the love of God and the hope of Christ. This is what leads a person to obtain the truth of God. It is absolutely not the emotional inspiration or verbal teaching that comes from human sermons, which stir only human resolve, determination, and self-reflection.

The teachings of humans—teachings that rely only on one’s own strength, enthusiasm, pride, and repeated resolutions, teachings that cause people to remain trapped in habits that make them repeat sin all their lives—are not the truth of God where God’s power works. They are merely indirect human instruction that abuses the truth of God, leading people to depend on themselves. They are nothing but leaven that inflates the heart and causes a lifetime of empty awakenings, empty determinations, and empty resolutions.

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.(1 Peter 4 : 1~2)

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.(Jeremiah 23 : 21~22)

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.(James 5 : 19~20)

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.(Daniel 12 : 3)

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.(Malachi 2 : 5~6)

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.(Ephesians 4 : 15~16)

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.(Romans 6 : 16~18)

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.(Romans 8 : 19~21)

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.(Romans 13 : 8~10)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 8)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.(2 Thessalonians 2 : 3~12)

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.(2 Corinthians 6 : 3~10)

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.(2 Corinthians 12 : 9~10)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.(2 Corinthians 10 : 3~6)

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:(Ephesians 6 : 10~17)

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.(Philippians 4 : 13)

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 6~8)

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.(Hebrews 2 : 14~15)

The truth of God is not words or theories, but the power of God. You have never learned the truth of God that leads a person to receive the power of God that surpasses human limits—something that cannot be accomplished by human will, determination, awakening, or pride. Because people do not look to Scripture but instead follow the indiscriminate distortions, deviations, and falsehoods of pastors that are not found in the Bible, most believers live a faith that repeats sin throughout their entire lives. All of them behave as if they are God’s children, as if they are saved, as if they are true Christians. But this is their pride, a false spirit, and a false salvation. Even though Scripture itself exposes their falsehood and their repeated sins testify against them, they stubbornly cling to a false salvation.

Everyone today desires salvation by their own will; they insist with their own strength, thoughts, and confidence that their determination is faith, that their assertion is salvation, and that their pride is the Holy Spirit. This pinnacle of human arrogance has summoned judgment. God desires to make people children of love in the kingdom of His beloved Sonthose who follow the love of God and the love of the cross that sacrifices even one’s own life. Yet people deny this and instead teach the lie that simply believing in religion, attending church, or listening to sermons is enough to reach salvation. The tragic result of such false salvation, false faith, and false spirits is that for thousands of years on this earth, not even a mustard-seed-sized fruit or evidence of true faith has appeared in a single person. Now is the time to seriously consider this. One must examine whether one has become a servant of religion, not a servant of Godwhether one’s faith is truly aligned with God or whether it is actually the enemy’s faith that bears no fruit of Christ’s love.

The greatest reason Christians and Romans on this earth cannot be born again from their repeated sins is that they do not confess themselves to be sinners who continually repeat sin; instead, they pridefully assume themselves to be God’s children. Being regarded as if one were a child of God is not the same as actually dwelling in God’s love. Those who remain outside His love continue repeating sinand those who repeat sin are not God’s children. God’s children do not commit sin (Romans 6:1618; Romans 6:2223; 1 John 3:69). God’s children are a people who pursue the good and the righteous that arise from God’s love. Those who dwell in the love of God cannot commit sin.
