.
Hey there, I read the entire post on the link you sent. That was a lot to take in, I appreciate the prayers, time, and effort that clearly went into it. I did feel called out by parts. I have fallen short innumerable times and am a disgrace to God. In June of last year, I was given a healing prayer. For whatever it’s worth, I believe and feel Jesus in that room with us. There were 3 of us there, and we know that when 2 or 3 are gathered in His name, He is there with us. We started the session by surrendering it to him and asking him to guide us. Although I am still forever scarred by the sins I have committed, and the weight of my sins is always before me, through only the grace of Jesus has there been a change within my soul. As He becomes more, we must become less. I’m in the process of becoming less. I’m not going back to my old vomit, and that’s only because He has been cleaning my heart. My prayers are for others in need, and the request I make for my own self is to be a better fruit. He is the vine, and we are the branches. Apart from Him, we can do nothing, and only because I’ve been more involved with Him have I been able to deny myself in significant ways. The progress I’ve received is not my own, but His. Though I am still a sinner, I spend time with Him every day, and I trust that though my sins be bright as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow through his mercy. By no means does that mean I willfully continue sinning, but all have fallen short. I’ve surrendered totally to His will, and daily are my prayers that his will be done. I submit to him, and my paths have been straighter. Although I am by no means perfect, I have gradually been transformed by the renewing of my mind. I am not in any way saying that I’m good and progress needs to stop. I know no amount of deeds will save anyone, and I thank God every morning for the countless blessings he pours on us. It’s funny to think that the root of this whole thing was a potential origami model. I am no longer going to make that model because of its ancestry of being an idol in other cultures. I still have my own idols I’m minimizing; no need to give another one a place in my life.

You may appear humble before God in the way you express yourself, but believing in God within the limits of your own thoughts and standards is by no means true humility before Him. In the Scriptures, David confessed, “I am like a worm,” and Job said that he was like a beast that runs in the field.
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.(Psalms 22 : 6)
I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.(Job 30 : 29)
I too have once cried out before God, crawling on the ground and confessing, “My life is worth less than that of an ant crawling over there.” By contrast, when I read what you have written, I see that while you try to express humility in words, at the core you are still centered on your own thoughts, relying on your own arguments. You are still not rooted in the Word of God, but rather trapped in a self-centeredness that twists the Scriptures according to your own thoughts, not even realizing that this itself shows you are not truly humble before God. God grants us wisdom when our own thoughts, judgments, and standards are cast aside. The distortion of Scripture when it is combined with human reasoning has given rise to countless religions and countless sects, making Christianity that has corrupted the earth with endless heresies.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.(Romans 8 : 7)
A faith that is mixed with one’s own thoughts can only become corrupted, degenerate, and defiled. Such a posture is not one that can receive the power and love of God, but rather, through one’s own thoughts, only increases in the craft of justifying and excusing one’s life. This is the very evil nature of man. In order to break free from one’s evil habits that stem from the corrupt nature, attributes, and members of the body, it is most important to recognize the parts of one’s own thoughts, judgments, and standards that are not in accord with the Scriptures, to reflect on them, and to cast them away. The wisdom of God can neither be combined with nor mixed together with human wisdom. It is not something that can be sensed, learned, or mastered through the human head or intellect. It is not something knowable merely through your reason, nor through human reason and understanding, for it belongs to the realm and ideal of God, which man can never grasp.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.(1 Corinthians 2 : 4~16)
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.(1 Corinthians 2 : 10)
As this Word declares, to possess the Holy Spirit means to comprehend all things of God, who is the Lord of all creation and the One who governs all things. Yet today’s religious people are utterly unaware of this. By the limits of human learning, which is built upon the studies and theories of the world, one can never understand the truth of God nor the wisdom of the Divine. The theology that is founded upon knowledge, academics, and theories taught and learned through human intellect, and the sermons of pastors based on such, are by no means the wisdom and truth of God. Do you believe this Word above, or do you not? A faith that is centered on human thoughts—believing or not believing according to one’s own will—can never take the posture of obedience to the Word.
“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.(1 Corinthians 2 : 10~11)” The Spirit of God who comprehends all things cannot be known within the limits of a man clothed in flesh.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.(1 Corinthians 2 : 13~14)
Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counseller hath taught him? With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?(Isaiah 40 : 13~14)
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.(1 John 2 : 27)
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.(1 John 2 : 20)
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.(James 3 : 17~18)
All of the above declares that the wisdom of God, which comes by the Spirit of truth, is not of the level or ideal of mankind that is learned and acquired through human knowledge, intellect, and reason. In other words, man learns and gains knowledge through the wisdom that arises from his head and intellect, but all who belong to heaven and who have received the Spirit of truth—the Holy Spirit—are given a wisdom that comprehends all things of God, poured into the heart, and it is a wisdom that flows out from the heart. It is not the human wisdom that appears through the head and intellect of man. This is why Christ said, “The wisdom I give you is not as the wisdom of the world.”
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.(John 14 : 26~27)
The wisdom that cannot be understood and the level that cannot be grasped is precisely the wisdom of God. You derive all your wisdom through your head and intellect, but the truth and wisdom of God do not arise from the head and intellect; rather, they are the divine wisdom and the divine ideal that spring forth from the heart. In other words, by human reason and understanding it cannot be comprehended, for it rises from the heart that has been poured into by the love of God—the wisdom of love emerging from within the heart, just as thoughts arise from the human head. This is why the wisdom given by God is able to provide answers to all the questions believers seek, teaching them in their daily lives and applying itself in practice.
As clearly stated in the above Word, for those today who neither read nor truly understand the Scriptures, but only believe according to their own assertions and desires, the Bible becomes of no use. The only thing that can bring you to understanding is the Word of God itself. Until this day, I have taught that people must continue to seek answers from the Word until every question they have is exhausted, until their understanding is made complete, until their inquiries run dry. For by the limits of human questions, it becomes evident that by human reason, intellect, and common understanding, you can never comprehend it. To this day, not a single person on this earth has been seen who teaches with the wisdom of God that, by the Spirit of truth, comprehends all divine ideals, all divine principles, all divine realms, and all the ideals of the kingdom of heaven. Those who claim to have received the Holy Spirit while relying on human wisdom and knowledge derived from head and intellect are the same as those without even the faith of a mustard seed, having neither proof nor fruit of faith, and without the wisdom and truth of God that comprehends all things.
Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.(Psalms 120 : 2)
Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.(Proverbs 4 : 24)
Even David prayed that deceit, fraud, and vanity would not be found within his thoughts or upon his lips. Yet you do not understand the meaning of this Word. For anyone to stand rightly before God, it must not be a fleshly faith centered on one’s own thoughts and judgments, but rather a faith that is grounded in the Word of God, making the Word the standard for one’s thoughts, judgments, standards, and very life. One’s own judgments, standards, and self-centeredness, when mingled with the world and material gain, are inevitably corrupted, mixed with heresy, falsehood, and compromise. Thus the thoughts of man, born of the head and intellect, become an enemy before God.
Can the law of God, which is built upon justice, righteousness, faithfulness, and equity, be followed by a head and intellect enslaved to the evil desires of the flesh and accustomed to the corrupt nature and habits of man? What is required is prayerful effort to examine carefully, in light of the Word, the parts of ourselves that must be corrected, changed, and transformed. To claim humility while sin is continually repeated is no different than a sinner calling himself righteous merely because he sees another sinner worse than himself. Saying that you are humble because you admit you are a sinner—while still repeating sin and at the same time claiming to be a child of God—only reveals that you are not truly wrestling against sin.
To live in the flesh, pursuing the desires of the world, while pretending to be a child of God or a true Christian, only makes one a slave to the evil habits of sin, repeating them until death. Within the evil habits and thoughts that repeat sin, your standards, judgments, convictions, and faith can only remain tainted by sin, producing claims corrupted by evil and a center hardened in pride. This is why today countless religions and heresies have sprung up everywhere.
The only way to confess sin, be born again, and be set free from sin is to deny the life of the flesh that follows worldly desires and lusts, and to pursue the hope of Christ born of the love of God. Only in true Christians who live in this way does the love of God, poured out into them, reveal the mighty working power of God. But your present judgments and claims, lacking humility, will inevitably turn you back to sin, never allowing you to leave the path of the sinner, for you absolutize your own proud thoughts, claims, and judgments. Even when you know and feel that you are sinning, you still repeat your sins. And even if you build up what you think are correct standards and judgments, you will never keep them—whether by lust, desire, emotion, mood, calculation, or self-interest. Instead, you go on endlessly piling up sins in the passing years, repeating nothing more than empty resolves, awakenings, and promises that amount to nothing.
To boast of what you have done well, and to trust your faith and claims based on such pride, is truly dangerous and a deeply arrogant presumption. At first there may be humility, at the beginning there may be steadfastness, but in the end you will be caught again in your own evil habits, with your thoughts becoming absolutized. Right now you are straddling both sides, caught in a tug of war between sin and righteousness. Though the grace of God is at work, within your thoughts even that grace is distorted and corrupted.
If you truly desire to receive the deep grace of God and overflow in gratitude for His love, you must first deny your own thoughts, your own self-centeredness, and your own standards, and become a true Christian whose center and foundation is the Word of God. The treasure of humility—to be lower, and lower still, and yet lower—is found in crying out, lamenting, and groaning with a broken spirit that knows to the marrow that you are the greatest sinner upon this earth. This rebirth of repentance in Christ is entirely different from the false repentance of today’s Christians, who, as in the past like Esau, seek only worldly blessings that stir up lust and desire, never even given the chance for true repentance. What meaning is there in a lifetime of repentance that only repeats sin?
The reason I am able to rebuke you in this way is so that you might truly become a child of God who does not commit sin. For I am a man of God, I have the Spirit of truth, and I bear the authority to converse with Christ and with God. My testimony is this Word of Scripture.
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.(Matthew 12 : 17~21)
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.(Malachi 3 : 1~3)
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.(Isaiah 42 : 1~7)
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.(Isaiah 19 : 20)
This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.(Acts 7 : 37)
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.(Revelation 15 : 3)
I have come by the Word recorded in Scripture, but you are of the world. Though the grace of God is at work, you are still nothing more than a sinner belonging to the nature of man, having only an outward form of humility without knowing the fullness of God’s wisdom. Look at yourself, continually repeating sin. Remember that Christ came to call sinners. With your repeated sins before you, you only pretend to be humble, while in reality your constant repetition of sin makes all your values, all your reasoning, all your standards, and all your judgments nothing but opposition and enmity against God. This is why He commanded us to lay everything down before Him, to take up our cross, and to follow Him. Because you have not laid these things down, your thoughts, notions, and standards inevitably become entangled and mixed with the Word, giving rise to dangerous ideas and claims. Thus you stand in a perilous place where your dying conscience may no longer be able to lead you to the right path. Remember, the moment sin swallows up your conscience, you become the greatest monster before God. Yet within the hope of Christ, the power of God works, and His love poured into us enables us by its strength to be transformed with mighty power (Romans 5:5–10; 1 John 3:3–10). But you are one who has not put to death your own thoughts, nor cast off your own flesh, nor taken up the cross to follow Christ.
From a posture of faith that mixes human thoughts, standards, and self-centeredness with the Word, joined together with the lusts of the flesh, one can never attain the humility that confesses oneself as a worm or a beast. When I once crawled on the ground before God and cried, “Lord, I am worth less than that creeping worm,” my confession was like the confessions, repentance, and prayers of the prophets of old. Do you really think David lived as though he were less than a worm? Do you truly believe Job lived as though he were no better than a beast? I want to ask you—have you ever prayed with such lamentation, such groaning, such cries and wails of confession of your sins before God that the heavens themselves might be shaken? Your humility is like lukewarm water. True humility is denying your very life, renouncing yourself, and abandoning all that you are.
I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.(Lamentations 3 : 14)
They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.(Psalms 22 : 5~6)
I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.(Job 30 : 29~30)
Because you set your own thoughts as the standard, the center, and the measure of judgment, without even realizing it you end up believing in and looking to God through an absolute mindset where you yourself are at the center. Such arrogance is no different than saying, “I am God.” The nature of man is that, until death, he cannot escape being a slave to evil habits that repeat sin. No matter whom a person worships, if he does not bear the fruit, the evidence, and the result that accord with and are testified to in the Word of God, he can never be freed from sin.
No matter how much one awakens or realizes on his own, man can never escape the evil habits that cause him to repeat sin. Yet it seems you think that because you are aware of the repetition of sin caused by sinful habits, you can fix yourself. That is a proud thought of the young. Remember this: there are very few who sin without knowing it. Nearly all know, realize, regret, and reflect, yet still turn back and repeat sin. Unless you keep this truth in mind—that this is the very nature of all mankind—your sinful habits will only grow. As they grow, your conscience, which barely discerns now, will gradually die, and even the little humility you may have will eventually disappear.
There are far too many childlike faiths that chatter as though they know much, when in reality they do not even understand the nature, the fundamental values, or the ideals of man. If you desire to become truly humble, you must bow lower before God, humble yourself further, and find within your tears the precious opportunity of repentance—that you are the greatest sinner on this earth, the greatest adversary of God, His greatest enemy, and the most shameful of all before Him. I earnestly pray that such grace will come upon you.
The messenger of light, who bears the truth of light, has come into the world to expose the evil habits, weaknesses, and hidden shames within the darkness of all mankind, so that true repentance might be fulfilled. The reason your sins hidden in darkness are being exposed is to lead you to the fruit of repentance. The messenger of light brings to light all that is hidden in darkness, and this is why the sins buried in your heart are being revealed. What I say may sound arrogant to some, but I rebuke you now as a messenger of God who bears the truth of His light.
The power to expose your condition this deeply comes only because I carry the truth. Have you ever once in your life met anyone on this earth who has confronted you in this way? The light of truth exposes the darkness of all people. It lays bare the limits, habits, reasoning, ideals, and schemes hidden in the hearts of people like you, in order that you may bow before God, confess, and bear the fruit of repentance. Therefore, the truth of light is the path that leads to life. The Word, “Repent,” is God’s opportunity given to you. You have not yet fulfilled the complete repentance of Christ. The command to confess and repent is the last opportunity, the final warning for this generation. Judgment has already come upon you like a thief, unseen and unnoticed. The workers whom God has appointed and set apart for His work as His messengers are already here upon this earth. Yet because of your worldly lives—marrying, being given in marriage, and enjoying the pleasures of the flesh—you cannot sense or perceive that judgment has already arrived, and that preparation for its fulfillment is unfolding. It is the very fulfillment of Scripture itself. Remember the words of Christ: not one jot or one tittle of the Word will ever pass away.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.(Matthew 5 : 18)
When you pray earnestly, with a pure and desperate heart toward God, then even though you are still in the flesh, God works through your conscience (spirit), guiding you, leading you, and granting you grace by His working. But when you follow the flesh and remain in your emotions, it is through those emotions that demons operate. In other words, when you pray with a pure and desperate heart toward God, He works through your conscience (spirit); but within your emotions, God neither works nor can He work—only the gods of this world have influence there.
Still, you are better than most people. Yet if the measure of faith is considered to be 100%, you have only advanced to about 10%. You still have 90% of the way to go before you become complete before God. From just a few lines of what you have written, the light of truth—which is the power of God—can clearly discern the measure and state of your faith. This light of life is living and breathing, able to see into the depths of every person. The depth, breadth, and scope of vision of the messenger of light cannot in any way be understood by human standards, because it is the truth of God, the ideal of God, and the wisdom of God that transcends the limits of man.
All men tend to think they can absorb and obtain everything on their own, but of what I teach to mankind, not even half can truly be absorbed. The truth of God is the vast wisdom of the Divine that surpasses the limits and ideals of this universe itself. No matter how much is explained, man cannot comprehend beyond the limits of his capacity. In other words, you too cannot understand beyond your own level, nor can you receive beyond your own limits. The contents below are only a small portion taken from lecture material. Please refer to them.
Questions that have been answered
All of these things are what has been taught in the lectures, and the depth and breadth of God’s truth, which can answer the questions of all people without hesitation, are so vast that even if six billion people were to ask questions until there were none left to ask, still the fullness of wisdom could never be exhausted or taught in its entirety. Do not try to measure the wisdom of God with human wisdom. It was precisely because of such a faith that, in the past, the Jews and the Roman Christians—who claimed to believe in God—failed to find Him and instead became His greatest adversaries. And so it is today, with religious people and Christians who have become the greatest enemies and opponents of God upon this earth.
Christianity is made up of people who do not know God even one percent. They merely play with the words written in Scripture, interpreting and explaining them according to their own claims, inventing and teaching a God of their own imagination, and believing in nothing more than that. This is not faith at all—it is nothing. It is only a counterfeit belief used to gain comfort, to secure peace of mind, or to solve health problems. Such faith can never have any depth. True faith that follows the will of God brings forth love, and the power of that love becomes a mighty strength that restrains and turns back the evil habits from which we could never free ourselves, leading us into liberation from sin. It nourishes us fully within the love of God, guiding us to resemble His character. This is the truth—not the words and theories taught and learned by today’s religious people of the world.
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6 : 17~23)
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.(1 Corinthians 4 : 20)
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.(Matthew 16 : 11~12)
When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.(Deuteronomy 18 : 22)
I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.(Jeremiah 23 : 21~22)
A true Christian is one who follows the example of Christ, who sacrificed even His own life; such are those who are rightly called true Christians. Are you not, then, not a true Christian? Because you serve God while at the same time serving the world and material things, you inevitably end up, often without even realizing it, pursuing corruption, heresy, and falsehood. This is because, as long as you follow the life of fleshly desire belonging to the world, where sin is continually repeated, you can never escape the lusts and cravings that are the very root of sin.
Unless a person abandons all his ideals, values, and goals and sets his aim only on the hope of Christ—on following the example of His love that sacrificed even His own life—there can be no true Christian life, no true Christian example, and no Christian fruit. No matter how much one repents or reflects, such a person can never be born again. Today’s Christians may claim to believe in God, but since they do not live the life of a true Christian who gives all to follow the love of Christ, their confessions and reflections never result in true repentance. In other words, they believe in God only to fulfill their own desires and happiness, not to follow the will of God through love and sacrifice.
A true Christian is never the same as a mere “Christian religionist.” Do not be a Christian in name only, following words and theories; be a true Christian, following the love of Christ. Judgment is the separation of sheep from goats, and the goats that pretend to be sheep are indeed different. Christians today are like goats pretending to be sheep. This arrogance will bring a punishment far greater—sevenfold, seventyfold, even seven hundredfold—than the sins of the unbelieving world. Do not be a Christian who mocks Christ. Christianity is nothing more than a religion created by man. From the beginning of creation until this very day, the greatest adversaries of God have always been the religions that, created by man, misuse the Word of God—religionists who have cast aside the will and love of God, calling only upon His name while pursuing their own desires, pleasures, and the ways of the world. Remember this.
The standard by which your faith is judged to be upright before God is whether or not there is fruit, evidence, and result in accordance with what is written in the Word of God. Therefore, the Word must be the center. If your own thoughts become the center and the standard, then within those thoughts corruption, heresy, and falsehood will inevitably arise. Unless the Word is made the cornerstone of your standard, human faith and judgment will always be shaken and corrupted by emotions, moods, and circumstances. Keep this in mind and take it to heart.
You are still lacking in what is most basic and fundamental. From the outside, your faith may appear admirable by ordinary standards, but it is only an outward appearance. If the full measure of faith is 100%, your faith has barely reached 10%. You must set your eyes on the 90% of the journey that remains before you, not on the 10% you have walked, saying, “I have learned this much, I have understood this much.” Such an attitude is shameful. A true Christian looks at what is lacking, takes each step forward in continual renewal and transformation, and does not absolutize, justify, praise, or excuse himself on the basis of the 10% he has accomplished. Fix your eyes only on what you still lack and on the path you must yet walk. Only then will the treasure of humility become the steadfast pillar of your faith.
One thought on “Re : Idolatry Question”
성경말씀을 통하여 하나님의 지혜를 얻기를 절실히 노력해야 하는 계기의 말씀감사합니다.
