The human spirit is the mind formed from the body of God. Therefore, the Word records that the Holy Spirit gave birth to the spirit. This human spirit consists of the nine beautiful attributes of God’s character.① These form the conscience of goodness and righteousness that lies at the core of every human being. It is a heart resembling the divine nature: a heart of love, a heart of mercy, a heart of joy, a heart of gentleness, a heart of kindness, a heart of peace, a heart of obedience, a heart of patience, and a heart of self-control.② In other words, it is a heart worthy of being qualified as divine, a standard and measure given to follow the Word. Therefore, even if one does not know what is evil, when one acts wickedly, the heart races unknowingly. This means that because of the standard of good conscience that resembles God, a person can recognize their own faults and feel shame, thus turning back.

If a person does not possess the conscience of a good heart that reflects God’s character, then they are no different from beasts—forsaking their qualification as children of God. Such a person becomes no more valuable than an animal. So, in order to awaken us to the truth that those who do not follow the Word are no different from beasts, suffering, pain, and tears come upon us.

As children of God, as children of salvation, and as citizens of heaven, we have been given the character that a divine being must have—so that we may become wholly fitting in His sight. This heart is indispensable to divinity. It is a heart that surpasses all human flesh and ideals—full of love, compassion, mercy, and kindness. God placed this foundation in the center and conscience of every human, which is why humans are considered more precious than beasts and are granted grace to surpass them.

Beasts, lacking the spirit that bears the character of God, cannot escape the limitations bound to bloodline and fleshly desire. But humans, possessing the spirit (conscience) that bears God’s character, are capable of great love, great mercy, great compassion, and great kindness—transcending all lineage and carnal desires.

However, most teachings and learnings today are driven by the desires, ambitions, and selfish goals of the world, so the conscience (spirit) is imprisoned by such. What is taught and learned, without exception, defiles the holy gift of God and profanes the love of the cross. Instead, false and empty teachings appear, led by vile gods of the flesh—manifesting through sorcery, witchcraft, divination, and deceitful signs seen among shamans and spiritualists. These are presented as if they were the glorious signs of the Holy God, yet they are merely fraudulent testimonies, gatherings, and so-called gifts that abound.

In this regard, all of their excuses, assertions, and so-called spiritual gifts are not the holy signs of God that raise the dead, nor are they gifts that heal the lame, the blind, or the incurably sick. Rather, they are only false gifts, rooted in selfish excuses.

Their tongues (tongues-speaking) are all aligned with the behaviors of shamans and spirit-possessed people. They are led by the spirits of the world—so their tongues are of Satan and demons. Just hearing them gives chills, feels heavy, grotesque, wild, or violent. They are filled with rage and outbursts and have nothing to do with the spiritual beauty of singing about the love of the cross and unity with Christ. Yet they act as if they are highly spiritual or have prayed fervently—standing on pride. Outwardly, they appear to follow God, but in truth, they only pursue their worldly desires, dreams, ambitions, and selfish aims. They are completely unrelated to the love of the cross.

God is love. Therefore, prayers and supplications not grounded in the love of the cross—but rather based solely on worldly desire, success, ambitions, and selfish greed—are forms of worship driven by unknown worldly spirits. These are prayers guided by arrogance and the gods of the flesh, and tongues and revelations masked as God’s gifts, but in truth are sorcery and divination from devils.

Thus, all such signs are not found anywhere in the written Word, but are rather manifestations seen among shamans or spirit-possessed mediums who serve false gods. Prayer accompanied by carnal anger can never be righteous before God, and the profane prayers of those who seek only their worldly desires, selfish ambitions, and personal success cannot stand before God. In fact, these prayers are worse than not praying at all. They only increase sin by pursuing greed, and by calling upon the holy name of God in vain, they are unknowingly led to pray under the influence of worldly and fleshly gods—gods unknown, unfelt, and incomprehensible to humans. Their prayers are mostly directed toward material gain, led by materialistic gods—a deluded faith born of greed and idolatry. Their religion is abominable, as they pursue worldly success and personal desires, spewing forth their vile temper and driven by obsessive evil. Thus, they are pastors, church leaders, and believers who are led by all kinds of unclean spirits.

The ‘gifts’ obtained from them are no different from the sorcery, divination, omens, or witchcraft that appear among those who believe in shamans or cults. Their tongues are all similarly grotesque, harsh, and unpleasant to hear—leaving an uncanny and unsettling impression that makes one shudder. Their prayers carry such feelings that cannot help but arouse suspicion.

Such gifts are too revolting and evil in their sensation to be called the prayers of Christ. They are filthy gifts given by the spirits of Satan and demons who disguise themselves as Christ or as God. Therefore, these gifts are not grounded in the Word and are nothing more than disgusting and abominable counterfeit gifts.

The Word is the true mirror, standard, and center for all spirits, gifts, truths, and consciences. Hence, any miracle or gift not found in the Word is the work of Satan. So-called “spiritual training” or “spiritual communion training” based on fleeting exercises that are not grounded in Scripture only produce false gifts that are not united with the true love of the cross. These are forced into being by mere human speech, theories, and artificial prayers—insisted upon by wicked people—and are the results of pastors and believers who seek only to steal tithes and offerings for their own selfish gain.

If one could possess the true gifts, which are worthy of salvation and reflect the divine nature, simply through verbal repetition or momentary exercises, then why would we need the love of the cross at all? Why would the commands of Scripture to keep, practice, and walk in the Word be necessary?

These people deny the love of the cross. Their so-called spiritual training is an attempt to reject the inner temple of the heart—that is, the divine nature—attained through true practice and obedience. These spiritual trainings are nothing more than sham gatherings made to justify their baseless theft of tithes and offerings and to rationalize their falsehood, corruption, and lawlessness. They are lawless and deceitful assemblies, created as a pretext to steal even more offerings.

The Word clearly instructs us to build the temple of the heart—a temple of the nine beautiful attributes of God’s nature—following the love of the cross. Therefore, we must not associate with anything that is not united with the love of the cross. The only path to salvation is the path that follows the love of the cross. Stop following churches that have deceived the believers with outward and superficial crosses. Instead, follow and practice the love of the cross and build the temple of the heart that is worthy of salvation! The sign of Christ is not the outward wooden cross, but the inner sacrifice and love that the cross represents.
