The present reality of Christianity is that there is no one who truly sets forth a clear standard or authoritative teaching concerning the true tongues of Christ. The reason is that churches and believers are being led by those who possess no prophecy, no power, and no true tongues with which to discern rightly. Thus, by means of abominable satanic tongues, they deceive their members into thinking themselves spiritual, and today sorcery and satanic tongues abound in opposition to God. It is to expose this crooked faith, and to make known the true standard of tongues, that I write this by the grace of God.
God, who is the root and source of love, loved mankind exceedingly and desired to make man His perfect children of glory. Therefore, the Word, the truth, the Sabbath, the holy days, tithes and offerings, faith, hope, love, shepherds, apostles, gifts, and prayer all exist for this purpose. In order that man may truly become children of God, He gave them all ideals, values, and truth, so that they might be clothed with the divine nature that resembles Him. God is the root and source of love. Thus He sent the love of the cross into the world, in order that every person might be formed into the divine nature of God, worthy of salvation. The love of the cross is God’s very nature, His perfect covenant, the way we must walk, the truth, and the life. For this reason, the Word, the Sabbath, faith, hope, love, gifts, shepherds, apostles, and prayer all exist to form in us a heart that bears the love of the cross worthy of salvation.
Therefore, what is the true purpose for which God gave prayer to mankind?
It is solely that we might practice the love of the cross, forming the divine nature (the temple of the heart) that resembles God and is worthy of salvation. To practice the love of the cross, our prayers must plead for the tears and pain of poor and needy brethren, and confess our own weakness and shame, so that God may make us His perfect children. This is the true purpose of prayer. But today, having forsaken this deep grace and holy will of God, corrupted teachings and learnings have led believers to serve God together with the world and material things. Thus, their prayers can only give birth to sin and greed. Their prayers are nothing but abominable, vain prayers, chasing after worldly desires and satisfactions. From such prayers arise satanic tongues, which now prevail everywhere. To those who seek worldly things, the gods of the world come; to those who seek material wealth, the gods of materialism come; to those who seek greed, the gods of greed come; to those who seek lust, the gods of lust come. These false spirits disguise themselves as though they were Christ or angels, and their prayers are what Scripture calls satanic tongues.
The features and behaviors of those who pray in satanic tongues—thrashing and convulsing—are identical to the shamans and mediums who invoke evil spirits. Anyone who witnesses these grotesque, chilling contortions in prayer cannot help but wonder at least once: Are these truly the prayers, tongues, and gifts of Christ that rise out of depth and peace? Even many who practice such prayers themselves feel suspicion within. This is because corrupt pastors, concerned only with their own bellies and selfish desires, have misled them into seeking worldly things, and as a result, the number of believers practicing satanic tongues has grown. The churches, pastors, and faith of today have come to the tragic state where they even encourage one another in these things.
Books that teach about faith, gifts, and tongues number in the thousands and millions, and countless pastors and theologians exist; yet despite witnessing the spread of satanic tongues throughout the earth like leaven, they have failed to give clear discernment and warning about true tongues and satanic tongues. Instead, they encourage and teach satanic tongues, proving themselves to be churches, pastors, and believers bound for destruction in the last days. This generation itself is the evidence. Today, satanic tongues are gradually becoming legitimized as though they were the true tongues of Christ, and thus incantations and satanic tongues continue to spread.
Satanic Tongues Disguised as the Tongues of Christ and of God
Those who practice satanic tongues perform prayers identical to those of shamans and mediums who call upon evil spirits. The fundamental reason is that they are serving God together with the world and material things, so that the spirits of the world and of materialism come upon them. In other words, their faith, their religion, their “Christ,” their “God,” and their prayers are nothing but tools to fulfill their own worldly desires and satisfactions. Thus, they pray being led by Satan and demons who disguise themselves as though they were God, Christ, or angels.
Countless believers have been taught and believe that simply praying beneath the cross, or praying in the name of God or Christ, means that God and Christ hear and answer. But in reality, God does not hear or answer prayers that pursue selfish desires, worldly satisfactions, and cravings. Only prayers that follow the love of the cross, which forms the divine nature of God worthy of salvation, are heard. All other vain prayers, God counts as sin.
And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.(1 King 22 : 21~22)(2 Chronicles 18 : 20~22)
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.(2 Corinthians 11 : 13~15)
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;(1 Timothy 4 : 1~2)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.(2 Corinthians 4 : 4)
For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.(Isaiah 9 : 13~17)
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.(1 John 4 : 1~8)
It is God who counts it as sin for those who do not keep the commandment not to offer vain prayers seeking the things of the world and of the flesh, but instead ask for such worthless things.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.(Exodus 20 : 7)
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.(Deuteronomy 5 : 11)
I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.(Zechariah 5 : 4)
And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.(1 Samuel 12 : 20~21)
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.(1 Corinthians 10 : 23~24)
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.(1 Corinthians 10 : 31~33)
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.(Matthew 6 : 31~33)
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;(Ephesians 5 : 1~3)
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.(Psalms 66 : 18~20)
True tongues of Christ can never exist among those who chase after selfish desires, satisfactions, and cravings; and even if they were once present, those who again seek their worldly desires and satisfactions will find them extinguished or unknowingly turned into satanic tongues. The true tongues of Christ appear only among those who do not seek their own profit or greed, and especially among those who intercede for their brethren and neighbors. Yet in more than ten years, I have heard and witnessed only a few who possessed genuine tongues. Even so, this too is by no means a sign of salvation.
Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.(1 Corinthians 14 : 22)
Today, many churches, pastors, and believers treat tongues as though it were the sign of having received the Holy Spirit, as though it were the proof of the Spirit. But in truth, tongues are a sign for unbelievers, given as a gift so that they might believe. Yet because those who possess the satanic tongues of pride insist that tongues are the evidence of having received the Spirit, the result is that churches are increasingly filled with the spirits of pride. Thus Christianity and the Roman Church of today are being corrupted into churches that cultivate nothing but a forced spirit, a false rebirth, and abominable gifts that are not found in the Word.
Tongues are the most basic gift, given so that unbelievers might believe. Through tongues one begins to learn and grow in revelation, wisdom, prophecy, and interpretation. True tongues of Christ are expressed over years in twelve distinct languages, each with its own character—some exceedingly beautiful, others strong, others gentle, all clear and pure in tone. To the hearer, they may seem like French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, or other tongues, yet they are stronger, gentler, and more beautiful than human languages. Within these twelve tongues is felt the building of a wall, like a defense that cuts off everything of the world and the flesh—like laying foundational stones in the building of a temple. Such prayer continues throughout daily life, at most lasting fourteen hours or at least seven hours, with a power that cannot be imitated. As the prayer multiplies and accumulates like a wall around the heart, it becomes the foundation for all other gifts and powers—knowledge, wisdom, mysteries, revelation, interpretation, and prophecy.
It is never the same as satanic tongues—repetitious muttering of a few unintelligible words (vain babbling). It is not, as they excuse, like a child learning letters one by one. Rather, from the beginning it is prayer uttered with the power of burning earnestness, as though fire rests on the lips, continuing for dozens of hours—even often continuing while asleep, with the lips still praying in tongues. Those who, after many years, still repeat only a few meaningless syllables are one hundred percent practicing satanic tongues. These arise because they seek only their own greedy desires, satisfactions, and cravings. Such tongues betray the holy will and deep grace of God, dishonor the noble love and sacrifice of the cross, and appear only in those whose prayers are bound to the world, asking solely for selfish desires.
….He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?(1 Corinthians 14 : 1~6)
True tongues of Christ appear only among those who, through love that feeds, gives, and cares, seek to unite with the love of the cross in honoring, cherishing, and serving one another. They will never appear among those who merely pursue their worldly desires, satisfactions, and cravings. The true tongues of Christ flow continually in daily life, and as prayer accumulates, they bring forth an ever-increasing abundance of gentleness, thanksgiving, joy, and peace within the heart.
Tongues are not a sign of salvation. They are nothing more than a very basic gift, part of the process leading toward perfection. Therefore, to claim that one has received the Spirit simply because of tongues is to dishonor the holy nature of God. And those who claim to have been “born again” because of tongues prove otherwise by their continual return to sin and their evil habits, despite their regrets and confessions. Their forced and prideful claim of rebirth is not true rebirth, but a false rebirth wrought by spirits of pride and lies—a counterfeit Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the very nature of God who loves all, and the love of the cross that sacrifices everything. Therefore, any gift, power, tongue, or prayer that does not build within the heart the divine nature of God—love, mercy, gentleness, peace, goodness, joy, self-control, patience, and obedience—is merely nothing but abominable, vain gifts, powers, tongues, and prayers led by Satan and demons.
God is love. The fundamental reason why God created man, and gave the Word, the Sabbath, tithes, offerings, worship, faith, hope, love, prayer, shepherds, and gifts, is that mankind might bear the nature of God, the source of love, and thus be made His children. Therefore, any value, principle, or ideal lacking or not united with the love of the cross—the divine nature required to become children of God—is nothing but incantation, divination, a false spirit, a counterfeit rebirth, an abominable prophecy, and filthy gifts under the rule of Satan and demons.
The evidence of such things is entirely different from what is written in Scripture, and instead is the same as the signs and symptoms found among shamans and idol worshipers. This is because the spirits of the world and the flesh are at work. The features of those who speak satanic and demonic tongues are no different from those of shamans when they invoke their spirits.
Why then do they treat tongues as though it were the sign of the Spirit? It is because today’s pastors themselves lack prophecy, and without prophecy there can be no true anointing. To rationalize their forced prophecies, they have exalted tongues as though they were the Spirit, and thus tongues have become a counterfeit Spirit, a false anointing, and a fabricated basis to make believers think they have received the Spirit.
This is why satanic and demonic tongues abound—because of those who serve God together with the world and material things. And those who do so inevitably fall into a cycle of repeating sin and repentance, becoming increasingly accustomed to sin. As a result, their excuses and rationalizations—formed by a seared conscience—become their “Word” and their “faith,” and their religion manifests in the vain tongues of incantation and divination.
How to Discern Whether One’s Tongues Are Satanic Tongues of incantation and Divination
1. Everyone who speaks satanic tongues repeatedly dreams of snakes, or terrifying and grotesque ghosts, or of being chased. As a result, their health inevitably deteriorates.
2. The more satanic tongues increase, the more frequent are the dreams of snakes and demons, as well as visions and hallucinations. Such tongues bring nightmares, paralysis-like terrors, and disturbing visions. (Some abominable pastors teach that when one casts out snakes and demons in a dream in the name of Jesus, it is “training and discipline,” but this is a blatant lie. True tongues never allow demons or Satan to intrude.)
3. Any prayer in which one feels chills or fear, and cries out “Satan, depart!” or “the blood of Jesus,” or claps hands in fear while praying in tongues—this is to be rejected entirely as satanic tongues. For these are not tongues of power from God, but tongues in which Satan is at work, just as shamans or mediums experience fear when the demons they serve come upon them. In the true tongues of God, there is never a case of chills or fear. Scripture gives no example of Satan working in the midst of true tongues. While there are cases where stray thoughts may intrude to disturb prayer before start, nowhere in Scripture do Christ or His apostles, in the midst of praying in God’s tongues, cry out to Satan to depart. Such chills and fears are identical to the manifestations of mediums when evil spirits descend upon them, because the worldly spirits masquerade as though they were God. Yet most who practice satanic tongues believe they have driven Satan away by their prayer’s “power” when they cry out “Satan, depart!” In reality, this is Satan’s trick, pretending to depart while leaving them deceived, so that many spend their whole lives praying only in satanic tongues.
4. These tongues appear in those who merely attend church or rely on words and theories, claiming “I believe” as though it were faith, but who do not live as true Christians following the love of the cross to be the light and salt of the earth. Their tongues arise from teachings and doctrines that exalt human zeal and pride, mistaking it for faith.(A blind faith that relies only on the response of “I believe” and “Amen.”)
5. These are tongues produced by human zeal and pride under the guise of “spiritual training,” in which a person is told to repeat a few words until the tongue twists. The resulting babbling is then falsely claimed to be the holy tongues of God.
6. These are tongues learned in teachings and doctrines that dishonor the love of the cross by exalting common moral and ethical charity—something any worldly person or corporation can do—as though it were the sacrificial love of the cross that gives even life.
7. These are tongues spoken by those who try to serve God together with the world and material things, uttered in prayers seeking their own worldly desires, dreams, and ambitions. In other words, these tongues come from divination born of their selfish desires.
8. These are not tongues that build up virtue in forming the temple of the heart, wherein one grows the love of the cross to honor, cherish, and serve one another. Rather, they are tongues spoken by those who harbor suspicion, act differently inside and outside the church according to their interests, whose outward appearance does not match their inward heart, and whose words do not align with their deeds—double-minded, hypocritical, and without the love of the cross, putting forward only their stubborn words, theories, and assertions.
Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.(1 Corinthians 14 : 22)
Tongues are a gift given to unbelievers so that they may know that God is alive and be led to believe more worthily. Therefore, tongues are a sign for unbelievers. Those who possess tongues are by no means those who have received the divine nature (the Holy Spirit, the anointing). The true mark of those who have received the anointing and the Spirit is prophecy.
Tongues are only the foundational prayer that lays the base of the temple of the heart, whereas prophecy is the language that testifies to being a citizen of heaven, the seal that acknowledges one as belonging to the kingdom. Therefore, a prophet is one who has been appointed from before the foundation of the world by the Word, an apostle who has brought prophecy from the throne of God and of heaven.
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.(Revelation 10 : 7~11)(Ezekiel 3 : 1~4)(Isaiah 6 : 8)(1 Corinthians 13 : 1~3)
This is a world where the falsehood and delusion that those who speak in tongues have received the divine nature of the Holy Spirit are spreading without order. This results from people pursuing only their own selfish desires, satisfactions, and cravings. Unaware that such tongues are in fact satanic tongues—incantation and divination wrought by Satan, demons, and evil spirits masquerading as Christ and as angels—they instead encourage and teach them, and foolish churches of this kind continue to grow as the world hastens toward the last days.
Those who practice satanic tongues all share the same mark: they are enslaved to worldly desires—success, happiness, wealth—and driven by greed. Unable to cast off worldly and fleshly things, and using God’s will as a pretext for fulfilling selfish ambitions, they are armed with pride and stubbornness. Thus their satanic tongues manifest in these ways:
In some churches the scene resembles a zoo, with beastly sounds of tongues. There are hideous spectacles: howling like wolves, yelping like foxes or dogs, hissing like serpents with tongues flickering, meowing like cats. These abominable noises of sorcery are treated as tongues by pastors and congregants. Their methods of prayer are likewise diverse: pounding the chest, clapping hands, striking walls, repeatedly crying “Satan, depart!” shaking the head wildly side to side or up and down, or performing frenzied bodily movements, all while babbling repetitiously. Such practices are indistinguishable from the rituals of shamans and sorcerers, noisy prayers void of sincerity or depth of heart.
Tongues that carry anger and poison, devoid of the love of the cross, are not the pure prayers of Christ, rising with a clear voice and earnest supplication. Rather, they are taught and learned as though they were true prayer, but are offensive and disturbing to hear, marked by harsh actions, grating sounds, and rough, hoarse cries. These are the kinds of prayers that spread corruption, and the churches practicing them multiply.
Under the pretense of “spiritual training,” they invent tongues by forcing the repetition of “hallelujah,” exploiting the twisting of the tongue. These manufactured “tongues” are devised to give false satisfaction to those without gifts, binding them in a false sense of calling. But in truth, these practices are no different from shamans and sorcerers, led by spirits of greed and lust. Thus more and more churches replicate the same tongues, prayers, and sorceries found in pagan rituals. Their babbling—repeating a handful of syllables like dandara, lalala, bullo, bullo—has no meaning, no standard, yet is mutually affirmed as genuine tongues. Such churches, pastors, and believers are a tragic spectacle of pride and deception.
Because they refuse to cast off worldly desires and serve God together with materialism, their prayers, worship, and praises are led by Satan disguised as God, by demons masquerading as Christ, by spirits feigning to be angels. They do not pursue the hope and desire of Christ—the love of the cross worthy of salvation—but instead call their worldly cravings “faith.” Thus their worship and prayer are led by false spirits of pride and greed, gradually destroying even their consciences, leaving them with vain prayers, deceitful faith, and shallow belief.
These are people whose tongues and faith are rooted in pride, falsehood, and selfishness, not the love and sacrifice of the cross. Inside and outside the church, their conduct differs; their outward words do not match their inner hearts. Governed only by self-interest, they inevitably fall into envy, jealousy, strife, hatred, pride, lies, and greed. Their faith is nothing but an empty comfort, like worldly teachings of perseverance and reward(Sweetness after bitterness), flattering and deceiving believers, but unrelated to salvation. They are all alike, regarding the hopes that pursue worldly desires, satisfactions, and cravings as though they were the will of God. While misinterpreting “Ask anything” without context, turning it into vain prayers that profane God’s holy name.
Their teachings are not of salvation, but of worldly blessings. They are divinations, disguised as prayer, which flatter worldly believers by promising worldly success, happiness, and desire, all under the name of God. They fabricate slogans of “human rights,” “material rights,” “spiritual rights,” and such, drawing believers deeper into worldly snares, making them pile up sin and greed.
Such false faith originates in pastors and churches greedy for tithes and offerings, who mislead believers with sermons and doctrines built on excuses, lies, and selfish ambition. They oppress with threats of hell, death, and curses, like shamans frightening their followers. They enslave believers, making them accept falsehood and forcing them to believe lies, thereby profaning God’s holy name and the blood of the cross. Lacking the love of the cross, they replace compassion with hypocrisy, and obedience to God with obedience to men. Their faith is not true salvation, but vain dreams and desires disguised as God’s will, leading to blind loyalty and fanatical obedience.
Because they revere not the Word but men who pose as God’s messengers, they put their trust in brick-and-mortar churches and altars instead of the gospel. Their leaders, hypocrites with double hearts, speak eloquently of the love of the cross, yet teach only empty theories. Their outward behavior in church is entirely different from their conduct outside, yet believers are deceived by their shallow pretense of holiness and kindness. Many only realize the fraud after losing all their wealth and possessions. This is the fruit of serving God together with worldly materialism, eyes blinded so they cannot see the Word, ears deaf so they cannot hear the truth.
Because they steal tithes and offerings, their greed only grows, so that eventually they even covet the possessions of their congregants. Under pretexts of “building God’s temple,” “spreading the gospel,” or “heaven and hell,” they pressure believers to surrender property, give guarantees, or donate wealth even on their deathbeds. Thus today’s towering brick churches are built, not for God’s glory, but by robbing believers under false banners of faith and love. Their faith is not directed toward God, but toward worldly success, happiness, and desire. With their lips they call on God, but in truth they pursue material gain and created things. Their teachings are mere worldly inspirations, urging believers to seek things of the flesh, to pile up greed and sin. They present worldly perseverance—“suffer now, reward later”—as though it were God’s will, but in reality it is deception leading believers into deeper ruin.
Thus many, through prayers born of selfish desires, stray further from salvation, unaware that they are led by Satan and demons in their worship, prayer, and praise. This corrupt and lawless faith, built on excuses, lies, and greed, has twisted Christianity into dangerous falsehood. Such faith is unrelated to the love of the cross, the true seal of salvation and resurrection. Instead, it exalts human opinions and theories, claiming them as God’s will and Christ’s gospel. It produces only unstable faith, always shaken, accompanied by envy, jealousy, hatred, pride, greed, strife, and lies. Inevitably, it leads to an endless cycle of sin, regret, and repeated transgression—the true reality of these vain faiths asserted by sinners.
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.(Proverbs 12 : 19)
They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneeded the dough, until it be leavened.(Hosea 7 : 4)
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!(Hosea 10 : 1~2)
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.(Matthew 16 : 11~12)
With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;(Proverbs 7 : 21~22)
These are the faiths of those who, for the pleasure and joy of their own lives, pursue worldly success, happiness, and desires, living a vain life that only stirs up sin and greed, and abandoning the hope of Christ and the life of the Spirit that follow the love of the cross—the true sign of salvation and resurrection. Their eyes and ears, under the power of the spirit of pride, have already become like those who, though they hear, do not hear, and though they see, do not see—blind men. Therefore, as their consciences grow ever more desolate, they can only stumble further into anxiety, restlessness, poverty, and misery. Failing to establish the conscience, which is the very center of man, and instead killing it, their excuses, stubbornness, and claims—born of greed and obsession—become their “god,” their “word,” and their “evidence” (2 Corinthians 10:5–6).
They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.(Psalms 17 : 10)
A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.(Proverbs 18 : 2)
Because of evil habits that sin, regret, and then turn back to sin again, consciences are already desolated. Thus, the number of fanatics governed by stubbornness and pride—who no longer feel even the pangs of conscience—continues to grow. These are those who think that whatever agrees with their taste and their forced opinions is true, and whatever does not is false. They exalt theories and words while hiding their unrepented sins and greed under the excuse of Scripture.
The greatest reason why such fruits and evidences have spread across the whole earth like leaven today is that churches and pastors have abandoned the love of the cross—the sign of salvation and resurrection, expressed in feeding, giving, and caring. Instead of Christ’s hope, they pursue only worldly desires, satisfactions, and cravings, piling up sin and greed by teachings unrelated to salvation (Isaiah 29:13–14; Mark 7:6–9; Titus 1:14–16; Romans 2:17–27).
The evidence of a conscience growing barren is seen in harsh voices, rough demeanor, and self-proclaimed titles of being “missionaries” or “servants,” exalting themselves as though they were the highest, using the yardstick of pride to replace the Word, standard, and judgment already lost. Thus, truth, counsel, and correction that could awaken them are rejected, and the very voices seeking to awaken them are rationalized away as “persecution and suffering for Christ.” In this defensive delusion, their faith resembles patients in critical illness, who cannot feel guilty of conscience, corrupted by pride and stubbornness into crooked and twisted religion.
Under the name of “God’s messengers” and “God’s temple,” they have become servants enslaved. Their faith is one of blind obedience and excessive loyalty, submitting to the words and theories of pastors who misuse God’s name. They believe without discernment, unable to distinguish right from wrong, their consciences abandoned.
This is like old communists or dictators who, under slogans of equality and the nation, deceived and inflamed the people, leading them to turn weapons against parents, brothers, and benefactors. Just as tyrants drove nations to ruin under lofty pretexts, so too today’s churches, under the name of God’s temple and salvation, demand blind obedience and sacrifice to fulfill their own selfish desires. They strip believers of conscience and discernment, making them slaves rather than children of God, bound by teachings of blind loyalty and fanatical submission (John 1:1–5).
Pastors who steal tithes and offerings under the name of God’s temple rationalize their theft and lies, leading people not to trust the Word of salvation but to trust their churches and altars. Thus they have abandoned the love of the cross—the sign of salvation and resurrection. Like past dictators who destroyed lives under the banner of nation, they now teach believers to pray meaningless intercessions for “nation” and “temple,” blocking the true way of salvation. These thieves, who do not feed or care for the hungry sheep, claim to pray for nation and people while ignoring the tears of the poor—what hypocrisy! Giving away old clothes they never wore and feeling pleased, giving a coin worth less than a meal and calling it sacrifice, they exalt such worldly charity as though it were the sacrificial love of the cross. Thus the love of the cross is shamed before the common charities and social services of unbelievers and idolaters. With what then shall the love of the cross be boasted? Where can the sign of salvation and resurrection—the love of the cross—be found?
These brick churches of theft, adorned with crosses that have become idols, and their charities of pretense and show are no true love of the cross. Because they cannot form in their hearts the temple of God’s children—the divine nature of the love of the cross—there is no true peace, meekness, thanksgiving, or salvation in their doctrines. Instead, they rely on words and theories: the Trinity, the Apostles’ Creed, teachings and lessons just like perseverance through suffering. These are abominable teachings, not true faith.
In a life where envy, jealousy, hatred, strife, lies, pride, and lust are repeated according to interests—fueled only by teachings and comforts that stir up their selfish desires, satisfactions, and cravings—they continue piling up sin and greed, caught in the vicious cycle of sinning, regretting, and then turning back to sin again. How, then, could they ever become true Christians who build the temple of the heart—the divine nature—adorned with the beautiful love that resembles God, which alone is worthy to lead to salvation? Believers live in cycles of regret, sinning again and again, their faith corrupted by false spirits, deceitful gifts, cunning anointings, and filthy tongues. By these they profane the love and blood of the cross before the world. It is time to depart from such abominable faith.
For without seeing truth, one cannot know falsehood. Without seeing light, one cannot know darkness. Without seeing righteousness, one cannot know sin. Therefore now is the time to seek eyes and ears of conscience to behold the Word, wisdom, mystery, grace, truth, light, righteousness, goodness, glory, and radiance. Now is the time to be prepared with a faith that builds the heart’s temple in the love of the cross, and to pursue true salvation and glory. Be no longer deceived by words, theories, and philosophies. Follow the beautiful love, suffering, and persecution of the cross. This is our eternal way, truth, and life. Bring your poverty, sorrow, pain, and suffering, for God is love who dwells with our suffering, pain, and tears.
