It’s ironic and sad to me that my family does not approve or understand my conversion. They act as if I have become crazy. The reality is that I was saved from all my lifelong clinical issues by God. I have suffered from depression, anxiety and schizophrenia for years. Once I found Jesus, all need for medication went away. And maybe that’s the crazy part in itself- that so many people are asleep or not willing to hear the truth of the Gospel. I’m in the best state of mind I ever was and I find it absurd that people would even suggest that I am experiencing some sort of delusion.

The fundamental reason humanity exists before God, and the fundamental reason Christ was sent to this earth, is solely that God might make us His children of love. For this purpose, all of God’s Word, power, gifts, tongues, the Holy Spirit, shepherds, faith, hope, love, ideals, and every divine work and providence exist.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.(Titus 2 : 11~14)

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.(John 3 : 3)

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.(1 John 3 : 3)

Christ came to this earth in order to reveal to the whole world the love of God—a love for which He laid down even His own life. But the false salvation taught by Roman Catholicism and modern Christianity has never been able to put to death the evil nature and habits of humanity that inevitably repeat sin. For this reason, they deceive believers who live their entire lives repeating sin, telling them they are already saved.

Because they have not been reborn, they teach those who continue in sin all their lives as though they were God’s children who do not commit sin—children who dwell in God’s love as light and salt—and as though they were true Christians freed from sin, when in truth they remain bound by sin.

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6 : 17~23)

A child of God who dwells in God’s love does not commit sin. One who has been freed from sin does not repeat the same sins as easily as taking a meal. A true Christian who lives with the hope of Christ—following the love of Christ—neither lives for himself nor dies for himself. In other words, all Christians today who, like Esau, shed tears only for their own worldly blessings and therefore cannot help but repeat sin again and again—merely practicing an unreborn repentance—are not true Christians of salvation. They remain religious people who continually repeat sin because they have not been born again.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.(Hebrews 12 : 16~17)

A true Christian does not seek or harbor the desires and lusts of the world and of the flesh. Therefore, unlike worldly people—and like the Christians today who are no different from them, repeating sin throughout their lives—they do not pray for blessings for themselves: not for family problems, children’s problems, business problems, workplace problems, romantic problems, or health problems.

Instead, they pray regarding the evil habits and weaknesses that make humans repeat sin; they seek the love of God’s power and the gifts of truth that enable them to overcome sin. They pray only for the suffering, pain, shame, and weakness of others, asking for greater and richer measures of God’s love and mercy. This is the prayer of a true Christian. Thus, a true Christian does not ask or pray for himself, nor does he live or die for himself. For this reason, he does not seek what is his own.

Those Roman Catholics and Christians who pray for their own interests are not true Christians who follow the power of God’s love. The prayers they pray—seeking worldly things and their own desires—are no different from the unbelieving world: prayers for personal blessing, personal success, personal dreams, and personal happiness that ultimately lead to judgment. They are the same as worldly people who pray only for their family problems, business problems, workplace problems, children’s problems, romantic problems, and health problems. Because their faith follows the lusts of the flesh and seeks only worldly things for themselves, they remain bound in the yoke of sin and cannot escape the life of repeating sin.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.(2 Corinthians 7 : 10)

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.(Romans 14 : 7)

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.(1 John 3 : 16)

Because the faith of Roman Catholicism and modern Christianity tries to snatch forgiveness of sins and the salvation of love—which apply only to those who follow Christ’s love, take up their own cross, and walk the path of His suffering and sacrifice—like a thief without any effort, there has not been, in more than 2,000 years, even a single person who has shown the faith of a mustard seed, nor any evidence, nor any fruit of it, though Scripture says that even with faith as small as a mustard seed one can move mountains. This is proof that there has been no one who has been born again, freed from sin, and truly saved.

This proves that there has not been even a single person who has been born again, freed from sin, and truly saved. There is no child of God who has been freed from sin, no true Christian who does not repeat sin, no evidence of mustard-seed faith, no fruit of it. Their continual repetition of sin proves that their salvation, their tongues, their repentance, their gifts, their Holy Spirit, their shepherds, their teachings, their truth, and their power are all false. To continue in sin is proof that one has not been born again. And for one who has not been born again to claim salvation—this is absolute falsehood, fiction, and fabrication.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.(1 John 3 : 3)

Every human being who possesses a body continually produces desires and lusts because of the human nature that follows the cravings of the flesh—the desire for what is more enjoyable, more pleasant, more comfortable, more flavorful, better, and greater in quantity. Thus, every person becomes a slave to greater lusts, ever-increasing greed, and the endless cravings that can never be satisfied, and therefore cannot help but repeat sin until the day they die. In other words, human beings continually repeat sin because of the evil habits born from the desires of the flesh—this is the evil nature of humanity. Man is not the image of God who possesses eternal life. The flesh, which carries desires that inevitably cause a person to repeat sin until death, is the devil. This is why all human beings, when they live according to the flesh, become enemies of God; and when they follow their nature, they become children of wrath.

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.(2 Peter 2 : 10)

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others….(Ephesians 2 : 3~7)

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.(Romans 8 : 12~14)

When a person follows the evil nature of the flesh, he cannot help but pursue the life of the world and the flesh. A life that follows the world and the flesh inevitably holds lust and greed, and lust and greed cause a person to repeat sin throughout his entire life. Therefore, those who seek blessings that belong to this world—blessings for themselves—are like Esau: they have not attained the repentance of rebirth in Christ, the repentance that frees a person from sin and keeps him from committing it.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2 : 15~16)

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.(James 4 : 3~4)

Those who seek the things of the world and the flesh—the very source of sin—can never escape the path of a sinner who must repeat sin until the day they die. Only those who deny and abandon all their worldly and fleshly ideals, hopes, happiness, and even their own lives, and who participate in the sacrifice, labor, and suffering that follow the love of Christ, are led into the divine power that works within the love of God. This is truth. This is the forgiveness of sins. This is salvation.

In other words, human pride, human confidence, human resolutions, and human awakenings—rooted in human will and human zeal—can never rise above the limitations of humanity, which can only repeat sin throughout an entire lifetime. Only the mighty power of God’s love, revealed in the hope of Christ and in those who live for that hope, destroys the evil habits that make a person repeat sin forever. The truth of God leads us to receive the divine power that surpasses human limitations—power that human blood, human energy, human will, and human zeal can never accomplish—so that we may find truth within the love of God where this divine power works. Every faith that continues to repeat sin is nothing more than the devil— a servant of Satan—who has not escaped the evil nature of the flesh.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.(John 8 : 44)

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.(2 Corinthians 12 : 7)

For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.(Romans 11 : 32)

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.(Genesis 6 : 5~7)

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.(Genesis 8 : 21)

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.(Psalms 51 : 5)

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.(Ephesians 2 : 1~3)

A child of God’s salvation never repeats sin. Such a person has been freed from sin and, having been cleansed, is one who has been born again.

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.(3 John 1 : 11)

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 5~8)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.….(2 Thessalonians 2 : 9~17)
