The original reason God instituted tithes and offerings is this:

First, tithes and offerings are sacred gifts meant to feed the shepherds and the servants.

Second, they are sacred gifts meant to feed and care for the poor and pitiful sheep.

The fundamental reason why tithes and offerings must exist is precisely to feed, give to, and share with the poor and pitiful sheep—so that all may cherish one another, serve one another, and care for one another, spreading the beautiful love of Christ throughout the earth. In other words, through tithes and offerings, God desires to feed, give to, and share with the poor and pitiful sheep, and by doing so, to spread love across the earth like light and salt, where people cherish, serve, and care for one another. However, following the traditions of Judaism and then Roman Catholicism, Christianity turned tithes and offerings into mere rituals based only on words and doctrines, creating a form of worship that is fit to steal the tithes and offerings. The worship of Christianity today was meant to proclaim the beautiful love of Christ—feeding, giving, and sharing through tithes and offerings, so that all may cherish, serve, and care for one another—and to be an example and model like light and salt throughout the earth. Yet the religions that have eliminated this beautiful love have already strayed from the Word of Scripture. They are blind who do not realize that judgment is at the doorstep—they are the assembly of Satan.

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.(Revelation 2 : 9)

The worship of theft that exists today was created by the Roman Church, which used the religious peculiarity of absolute obedience and absolute power for religious rule—by imitating the worship of theft practiced by the Judaism of old. The fundamental reason all the religions of mankind originated from royal lineages is also to establish religious rule by exploiting this unique characteristic of religion: absolute obedience and absolute power. If Christianity had truly begun with pure faith, it would not have deleted or altered the words of the Bible. (Refer to the preface of the King James Bible.)

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.…(1 John 4 : 7~13)

But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.(Matthew 12 : 7)

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.(Hosea 6 : 6)

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.(Matthew 9 : 13)

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.(Mark 12 : 33)

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.(Psalms 40 : 6~8)

All the religions of humanity, far older than what mankind currently knows, clearly reveal in every civilization that religious rule—based on absolute obedience and absolute power—was established by deifying rulers as divine representatives in order to escape the threat of military coups and regime change. While it is often claimed that religion spread across the world because of mankind’s religious nature, the truth is that religion was exploited by kings and those in power to deify themselves and establish religious rule. Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and the Roman Church—all originated from royal authority. Moreover, the altars dedicated to worshiping gods found in the Mayan, Egyptian, and Indus civilizations, and in every other civilization, show that religion was created and spread by kings and rulers from ancient times as a tool for religious governance. Tithes and offerings, supposedly given to God, were in fact exploited as a means of governance through religion.

First, tithes and offerings are sacred gifts meant to feed the shepherds and the servants.

…And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house. For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.(Nehemiah 10 : 36~39)

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress. Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD’s heave offering to Aaron the priest. Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it. Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.(Numbers 18 : 25~30)

One-tenth of the tithes and offerings is to be given to the Levite servants, and from the one-tenth given to the Levites, another one-tenth is to be set aside as a heave offering to God, which is then received by the priest. In other words, the servants within the church are to receive one-tenth of the tithes, but from that, they are to give another one-tenth to the priest. This means that tithes and offerings exist to provide for the priests and servants.

Second, they are sacred gifts meant to feed and care for the poor and pitiful sheep.

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.(Malachi 3 : 8)

…And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee. At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.(Deuteronomy 14 : 22~29)

When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:(Deuteronomy 26 : 12~13)

The content of the preceding passage refers to the command to gather the remaining tithes every third year and use them to feed and share with the poor and pitiful—beggars, orphans, and widows. The fundamental purpose of tithes and offerings is to feed, give to, and share with the poor and pitiful sheep (the orphans, beggars, and widows), so that all may care for, cherish, and serve one another, spreading the love of Christ throughout the earth. However, in order to use the tithes and offerings for their own greed and pursuit of power, the authorities, religions, churches, and pastors have completely deleted and altered the original purpose and use of tithes and offerings as stated in the Word of God.

Third, tithes and offerings exist to teach the love of Christby feeding, giving to, and sharing with the poor and pitiful sheep, so that all may care for, cherish, and serve one another.

In the Bible we read today, aside from a single verse concerning tithes given to feed the priests and servants, there is no other instruction about to whom or how tithes should be used. However, aside from the one-tenth portion given to the priests and servants, the rest of the tithes and offerings were in fact meant to be used to feed, give to, and share with the poor and pitiful sheep—that is, the orphans, foreigners, and widows—so that all may cherish, serve, and care for one another and spread beautiful love. To exploit this as a means of religious rule, King Constantine deleted countless verses from both the Old and New Testaments. This is supported by the following words, and I believe it can be understood clearly with reasonable common sense.

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.(Malachi 3 : 8)

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.(Hebrews 13 : 16)

The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the LORD GOD of hosts.(Isaiah 3 : 14~15)

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.(Matthew 21 : 13, Mark 11 : 17, Luke 19 : 46)(Job 12 : 6)

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.(Jeremiah 7 : 4~11)

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.(Romans 2 : 17~24)

Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.(Amos 5 : 11)

Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?…(Matthew 23 : 16~28)

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.(Acts 2 : 44~47)

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.(Isaiah 1 : 13~17)(Deuteronomy 15 : 10~11)

Tithes and offerings were originally meant to feed, give to, and share with the poor and pitiful sheep—to spread a love that cherishes, cares for, and serves one another throughout the earth. But in order to steal the tithes and offerings and use them as wealth to satisfy their own power and greed, a false form of worship was created—one that has continued even into the worship of modern Christianity. Therefore, Christian worship today is a man-made doctrine and ideology, created through the collusion of false power and false shepherds for the purpose of theft. All doctrines of Catholicism and Christianity today are traditions, practices, and customs created by lies, corruption, and heresy—intended to idolize church buildings and deify those who teach only with words for their entire lives—so that the power and greed of man could steal the tithes and offerings meant to feed the poor and pitiful sheep. From the very beginning, all religious rituals, worship, traditions, and customs of today’s religions are nothing but man-made thoughts, traditions, and legacies passed down from those in power. They are not the worship or religious rites of God.

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.(Malachi 3 : 8)

….But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.(Hebrews 13 : 15~16)

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love….. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.(1 John 4 : 7~16)

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.(Romans 13 : 8~10)

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.(3 John 1 : 11)

The Word, acceptance, faith, hope, salvation, gifts, power, the Holy Spirit, the Sabbath, the shepherds, tithes and offerings—all exist solely for the love of salvation. Any value without love is to be dismissed as falsehood, heresy, and antichrist. God is love. You who teach only with words your entire lives—repent! You who live a faith that only listens all your lives—repent! (1 John 4:7–17)

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.(1 John 3 : 14)

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.(3 John 1 : 11)

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.(James 4 : 17)

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.(1 John 3 : 16)

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.(Romans 14 : 7)

To all those who do not practice the love of Christ but only perform the hypocritical worship that steals the tithes and offerings meant to feed the poor and pitiful sheep, the Word declares that they are led by evil spirits sent by God. This spirit, which Christians all alike refer to as the Holy Spirit, is in fact a demon pretending to be God. It is written in the Word that Christian worship will bring punishment according to the days on which one attends such worship.

This is the worship of theft in which demons are inevitably at worksuch is the worship of both Christianity and Catholicism.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;(1 Timothy 4 : 1~2)

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the alter? What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.(1 Corinthians 10 : 18~21)

Because they serve God alongside the world and material things, they inevitably follow all kinds of corruption, heresy, and falsehood. The worries of the world are death and judgment. In other words, all Christians alike have a carnal faith that belongs to the world and the flesh—seeking only solutions to problems in family, business, work, relationships, and health. That is why all Christians spend their entire lives repenting and regretting, yet turn back and commit sin again, unable to escape the evil habit of repeating sin. The Word that says those who continue in sin are children of the devil proves that the spirit they claim to have is false. A fleshly faith that repeats sin leads to death. (1 John 3:5–10) (2 Peter 2:10–22)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3 : 8)

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.(2 Corinthians 7 : 10)

Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?...(Matthew 23 : 16~24)

I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts. And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them. And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.(Hosea 2 : 11~13)(Romans 8 : 5~7)

Through worship that steals tithes and offerings, and through Sabbaths and all religious observances, people are unknowingly led by demons—mistaking them for God—and the Word declares that they will be punished according to the days they attend such worship. Furthermore, the Word says that if one seeks an idol desired in the heart—whether it be things of the world, then the god of the world; if it be material wealth, then the god of wealth; if it be lust, then the god of lust; if it be carnal desires, then the god of carnal desire—God will allow them to be deceived by those very spirits.

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them? Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.(Ezekiel 14 : 3~6)

For all those things hath mine hand made, and those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.(Isaiah 66 : 2~4)

This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing. For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.(Jeremiah 13 : 10~11)

Because their faith is of the flesh—driven only by lust and greed for their own worldly and carnal happiness, success, and prosperity—Christians are led by demons who masquerade as God, without even realizing that the worship they offer is operated by demons that steal tithes and offerings. They are blind, and it is these very people—who have no evidence, no power, and no fruit of even mustard seed-sized faith—who are teaching and being taught.

Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.(Jeremiah 16 : 11~13)

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.(1 Corinthians 12 : 1~2)

And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:(Jeremiah 9 : 13~14)

As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.(Hosea 11 : 2)

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.(Jeremiah 11 : 11~13)

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)(1 Corinthians 8 : 5)

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.(Deuteronomy 11 : 26~28)

The True Nature of the Holy Spirit

(4. The Spirit of Power for Salvation, Who Leads to Freedom from Sin and Lust)

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.(Romans 8 : 19~21)

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.(Romans 6 : 16~18)

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:(1 Peter 1 : 5~6)

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.…(1 Corinthians 1 : 17~21)

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.(2 Corinthians 12 : 9~10)

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth….(2 Timothy 3 : 5~8)(1 Timothy 4 : 7~16)(2 Corinthians 6 : 3~10)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.(2 Corinthians 10 : 3~6)

Today, the so-called Holy Spirit that Christians claim to possess shows neither power, nor evidence, nor fruit—not even as much as a mustard seed. This is because it is a false Holy Spirit, created by falsehood, heresy, and corruption that come from serving God alongside the world and material things. Christians who believe they are saved by such a spirit are not true followers of Christ—they do not follow the love of Christ, nor do they pursue the hope of Christ, nor do they live the life of Christ. Therefore, they cannot possess the powerful spiritual gifts that come from following the love of God and living the life of Christ. Instead, they live their whole lives repeating sin, trapped in meaningless repentance and reflection, only to turn back and commit sin again and again. For more detailed and in-depth content, please refer to the website called ‘Moses’ Burning Bush’.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.(Matthew 17 : 20)

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment….(1 John 3 : 21~24)
