I remember this being asked on some forum and I saw somebody say that they’re just in eternal boredom since nobody worships them anymore, while others said that they fade into nonexistence. What do you think about this?

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.(1 Corinthians 4 : 20)
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:(1 Peter 1 :5-6)(Titus 3 :3-8)(Thessalonians 2 : 9-10)
A person’s existence is inherently tied to their own thoughts and judgments. Since people judge based on what they have learned, experienced, heard, and felt, it is only natural that they do not recognize the existence of God. However, if one were to ask whether we are living in a world where God does not work, the answer would be no. Even our current civilization has been guided by God, allowing it to develop and progress. God can be broadly divided into two categories: one is the God who creates, and the other is the God who does not create.
For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (1 Corinthians 8 : 5-6)
Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.(Jeremiah 10 : 11)
The God who creates is the one who brought everything into existence, from the beginning of the universe to the origin of life. It is this Creator God who gave rise to the gods that do not create. The Bible clearly presents this truth, but today’s Christian pastors, being spiritually blind, fail to teach it properly. The gods that do not create are primarily the rebellious angels—those who were originally spiritual beings, God’s children, and angels created by God. These beings betrayed God, took on physical bodies, and became gods of the flesh. The spirits of the world, the deceiving spirits, Satan, and demons that humans speak of refer to these gods who were cast out in bodily form. Since they are not purely spiritual beings but possess physical bodies like humans, they are inevitably driven by desires and greed, making them prone to falling.
These gods are the ones who rule over the world. The so-called “beings” seen in UFOs today have, since the beginning of humankind, influenced and governed human affairs. Human civilization has also progressed due to the knowledge passed down by these beings. While people believe that figures like Einstein and Edison advanced science through their own intellect, that is not the case. Their minds were controlled, guided, and directed by these entities. This is why the Bible states that the flesh leads to death and sin. Because humans are bound to follow the nature of their physical bodies, they must receive divine power to break free from the nature of the flesh. All humans inevitably live under the influence of these fleshly gods. This is why lust, desires of the flesh, and greed lead to an endless cycle of sin. Sinful habits are ingrained, functioning almost automatically, like a programmed computer.
Thus, even those who follow religions continually repent and reflect, only to fall back into sin. This is because their sinful desires stem from the very nature of the flesh, which cannot be changed by human effort. That is why divine power is necessary.
The truth is that God’s power can break the sinful habits that people cannot overcome on their own. However, there is no one to properly teach and learn this truth.
God has declared that judgment will come. Today’s world, corrupted and deceived by religious hypocrisy, continues to decay, leading to despair and hopelessness. This is evidence of the end times, establishing the necessity of divine judgment.
Religions that exploit God and manipulate faith for human desires are man-made constructs. Since they reflect human greed and perpetuate doctrines shaped by human desires, it is only natural that man-made religions become corrupt, deceitful, and degenerate.
People seek God within religious institutions, but that is why they fail to find Him. God is not confined within religion. He is not a god limited to religious structures.
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.(Colossians 3 : 11)
Religion is a human creation, and therefore, self-awareness, resolutions, and commitments made through religious teachings can never truly transform, renew, or change a person. It is not that God’s power has failed to manifest, but rather that God, in His abundant patience, has been enduring. However, the end times have come. In these last days, the Messenger of the Covenant and the two witnesses of the Covenant have arrived. Yet, no one recognizes this. If you wish to understand this in more detail, read Judgment and Moses’ Burning Bush.
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.(Malachi 3 : 1-3)
