Why did God create humans who, even after repenting and reflecting, cannot help but continue to commit sins once they turn around?
First of all, the reason humans cannot help but repeatedly commit sin is because they live a life following their evil habits. In other words, knowingly committing sin is due to a habit of prioritizing their own interests based on personal calculations. All of this stems from habits that follow the instincts and nature of the flesh. Every human being is conditioned from a very young age by the habits produced by the desires of the flesh—to want better things, to seek convenience, to eat tastier food, to hear better sounds, to see more entertaining things, and to do whatever their heart desires. Rather than pursuing the conscientious values of justice, fairness, and righteousness, humans choose an emotional life driven by the habits formed through calculating pleasure and gain based on the desires of the flesh.
Therefore, humans do not sin because they are unaware or do not know; even though they understand and recognize things through their conscience, they live following the habits of their fleshly nature, rather than walking the right path of conscience. As they continue to follow the path of these fleshly habits, their conscience gradually dies in the repetition of sin, their sense of guilt dulls, and rationalization or justification of sin becomes bold and accepted as natural, causing even the sense of sin to disappear.
There may be a little concession in matters of interest, but within that interest lies the nature of the flesh that seeks self-benefit first—leading to selfish habits that repeat greed and sin until death. This is not much different between unbelieving people of the world and religious people. Even religious people, no different from those in the world, come to realizations, repent, reflect, and awaken—yet still, when they turn around, they repeat the same sins again. This is the limitation of human beings. The reason there is no difference between religious people and unbelievers is because religion is not something God created but something created by humans who cannot escape the limits of the flesh. Religion created by humans cannot escape human limitations. That is why, no matter how much religion teaches and inspires through sermons—leading to awakening, determination, resolution, repentance, reflection, and self-examination—it still cannot overcome the limitation of humans who inevitably repeat sins and never truly change.
True truth is teaching the power of God that helps one overcome the limits of humans who cannot be changed merely through awakening, determination, and resolution based on lifelong sermons filled with words and theories. However, all religions on this earth merely repeat awakenings, resolutions, and determinations driven by human will and emotion through words of instruction and inspiration—never allowing one to escape sinful habits or the shackles of endlessly repeated sins. This is the limitation of all modern religions.
A Christian is not someone who lives the life of Christ, following the love of Christ. As the Scripture says, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of heaven,” today’s Christians are merely religious people who call on the names of God and Christ while serving both the world and material things—following corruption, heresy, and falsehoods. They are not the true children of truth in whom the power of love that abides in God operates. Do not be mistaken!
These are the teachings and learnings of ignorant and unlearned religions, where the blind are leading the blind, not even knowing the fundamental reason why God created humanity. Today, all people regard teachings and inspiration through words and theories as if they were truth. But these are merely human teachings that are bound to hit the limits of human awakening, determination, and resolution. They are not the truth of God’s power in which the power of God is revealed.
As such, though there are many pastors and believers today who claim to believe in God, within their faith, where even a mustard seed-sized power of faith is not shown, they are left struggling in sin or experiencing disillusionment through meaningless repentance and reflection. Even worse, some no longer even feel guilty in their conscience; they begin to take their sins lightly, become increasingly bold, brazen, and shameless—growing into monstrous, forceful forms of faith. This is the form and the tragic reality of all religious people today.
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.(Matthew 15 : 7~14)
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.(Matthew 7 : 21)
The fundamental reason why God created human beings is that He created them in order to make them perfect and complete children of God, like Himself. Today’s Christianity and Catholicism, which claim to believe in God, teach as if angels are perfect and complete like God. However, angels are not perfect and complete beings like God. But because they do not know this, Catholicism even deifies the angels. Because Christianity and Catholicism have despised the very Word of God, they cannot help but betray God’s Word.
1.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.(Judas 1 : 6)
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;(2 Peter 2 : 4)
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.(Revelation 9 : 13~15)
2.
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.(Genesis 6 : 1~3)
3.
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:……Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.(Ezekiel 28 : 2~19)
The content in number 1 above refers to the angels who betrayed and were cast away before God. (Jude 1:6) (2 Peter 2:4) (Revelation 9:13–15)
The content in number 2 refers to the sons of God who betrayed. (Genesis 6:1–3)
The content in number 3 refers to the throne that sinned. (Ezekiel 28:2–19)
Number 4 refers to the sin committed by Adam and Eve. (Genesis 3:1–24)
Why did the angels, the sons of God, the throne, and Adam and Eve all sin? The biggest reason is that they did not clearly know the standard and boundary of sin and evil. Only when there is darkness can the value of light be fully understood, and only when there is sin can the value of goodness and righteousness be truly known and discerned. However, they only knew the value of goodness, righteousness, and light, but not the standard and boundary of sin, evil, and darkness. As a result, even angels, sons of God, and even the throne sinned and fell, and were cast away before God. Thus, something was needed to make the angels know sin and evil.
Therefore, God created human beings with flesh that inevitably commits sin and evil. In other words, by learning sin and evil through the flesh, and learning, practicing, and realizing goodness and righteousness through the spirit (conscience), humans are made to fully know and clearly discern good and evil, sin and righteousness, darkness and light—so that they may become perfect children of God. That is why the human body exists. All human flesh cannot escape the evil nature and habits that inevitably repeat sin through desire and greed. Therefore, all humans, from a young age, follow the nature of the flesh and repeatedly commit sins through the habits of evil. For this reason, all humans with flesh are referred to as children of the devil and agents of Satan. In other words, they are called Satan and the devil because they possess sin and evil.
This is the fundamental reason why all believers, without exception, even after repenting and reflecting, turn around and end up committing sin again. Ezekiel 28:2–19 speaks of the throne of God having sinned, becoming an object of astonishment and warning to all people—this is a reference to the first Satan. Satan refers to an imperfect god with flesh, who inevitably commits sin at any moment due to possessing flesh. In other words, the king of Tyrus, who once sat on the throne of God, sinned and thus became the first Satan with flesh. The body of the eternal child of light was transformed into the flesh, the body of the devil.
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.(1 Corinthians 15 : 40)
①
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.(Genesis 2 : 7)
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.(1 Corinthians 15 : 45)
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.(Genesis 2 : 25)
②
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.(Revelation 1 : 13~16)
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.(Daniel 10 : 5~6)
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.(Revelation 4 : 3~4)
The above verses are the words that record the body of the children of God, which was covered with light. In this way, from the divine body covered with light, it became the human body. For example, when Adam and Eve had the divine bodies covered with light, they were naked but did not know shame because they were covered by the light. However, after they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and sinned, they became human flesh, lost that light, and, because their lower parts became exposed, they were ashamed and covered themselves. In other words, they changed from the body of God’s children to Satan who bears the flesh. Thus, all humans who wear the flesh that cannot help but commit sin are called the children of the devil. It is also said that He gave the messenger of Satan, the thorn in the flesh. And that He confined them in disobedience. Therefore, since they live the life of the flesh that inevitably follows the desires of the body which repeatedly commit sin and evil, all humans are by nature children of wrath before God and cannot help but be His adversaries and enemies.
①
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.(John 8 : 44)
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.(2 Corinthians 12 : 7)
For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.(Romans 11 : 32)
②
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.(Psalms 51 : 5)
And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.(Job 1 : 21)
And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.(Genesis 8 : 21)
…God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; …(Romans 3 : 1~6)
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.(Leviticus 12 : 1~5)
If, as today’s Christianity and Catholicism claim, we humans are children of God and objects of blessing, then it would be proper to bless newborn children. However, the Word of God says that when children are born, they shall be unclean for seven days. In other words, it means that they are not objects of blessing but children of the devil. Christians all alike call themselves children of God and take it for granted. But humans are the body of the devil, the children of the devil, bearing the flesh of Satan who is the messenger of Satan—thus they cannot help but live a life of repeatedly committing sin and dying in the end. Christians, Catholics, and all religious people may define sin seriously when it comes to external sins, or internal sins committed in the heart—such as envy, jealousy, strife, lust, pride, lies, and hatred, the seven abominable capital sins—but they do not have a strong sense of guilt about them. They neither teach nor learn about the sinful habits of these emotional sins. Every human being repeats the sins of envy, jealousy, strife, lust, pride, lies, and hatred billions of times until death. Therefore, there can never be any Christians or religious people who will enter the kingdom of heaven. There are only sinners disguised as Christians, who must die billions of times in hell. (1 John 3:5–10)
He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.(Proverbs 26 : 24~25)
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.(2 Corinthians 7 : 10)
No matter how diligently a person attends church, cries out the name of God, prays, and lives a life of faith, if they spend their whole life seeking solutions to their family problems, business problems, job problems, children’s problems, relationship problems, and health problems, then regardless of who they are, it is nothing but a fleshly faith that leads to death and judgment.
In other words, because these people pursue only their own happiness, success, blessings, and smooth prosperity throughout their lives—following greed—they cannot live according to the holy will of God, whose purpose is to live for the hope of Christ, which follows the love of the cross that sacrifices even one’s own life. Those who follow greed endlessly seek the worries of the world that lead to death; therefore, such faith is of the flesh, which leads to death and judgment. (“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” — 2 Corinthians 7:10)
Only those who live the life of Christ (the spiritual life) are the people of Christ, in whom the Spirit of Christ works, and they are the true spiritual Christians. Those who merely call upon the name of God but spend their entire lives seeking only personal happiness, blessings, success, and prosperity are never true Christians. A true Christian, who lives following the love of Christ—even sacrificing their own life—never lives or dies for themselves. (“For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.” — Romans 14:7)
In other words, there is no true Christian who seeks personal happiness, blessings, success, and prosperity—they are not foolish like that. If you truly want to be freed from sin, come out from the fleshly faith that follows corruption, heresy, and falsehood—serving both God and the world together with materialism—and take up your own cross, following the life of Christ (spiritual life), and obtain the power of Christ’s love. Truth is not a human emotion or teaching that causes believers to merely awaken, make resolutions, and repeat them throughout their lives through verbal and theoretical instruction. Truth is the power of God revealed in the love of Christ.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.(2 Timothy 3 : 16~17)
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.(Ephesians 4 : 15~16)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.…(Titus 2 : 11~15)
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.(Colossians 2 : 18~19)
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.(Titus 3 : 3~7)
It is not about the goodness and righteousness that are momentarily practiced from time to time by following the emotional inspiration of words, but about the love that is practiced through the power of God, following the love of God. True truth is to guide people to receive the gift of God’s power that leads them to be supplied with this love. Those who are in the true truth that follows love do not follow greed, and thus do not commit sin—because the power of God leads, governs, and works in them, they do not sin. Emotional inspiration from words and theories is never the truth. True truth of God is that which leads one to receive the power to escape the shackles of sin that cause the cycle of sin and repentance to repeat.
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time….(1 Peter 1 : 5~6)
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.…(1 Corinthians 1 : 17~21)
For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.(2 Corinthians 13 : 4)
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.(1 John 3 : 14)
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.(3 John 1 : 11)
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.(James 4 : 17)
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.(2 Corinthians 9 : 7~9)(Psalms 112 : 6~9)
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.(Psalms 14 : 31~32)
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:(1 Timothy 6 : 14)
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.(Exodus 20 : 7)(Deuteronomy 5 : 11)(Leviticus 19 : 11~12)
Just like today’s Christians who spend their whole lives repenting and reflecting, yet turn back and commit sin again, a true Christian does not follow lust and greed, and therefore does not commit sin. There are many blind teachers and blind learners who do not realize that the word “Everyone who commits sin is of the devil” applies to themselves. Because of this, they begin to take their sins lightly, become increasingly bold, shameless, and confident, and no longer feel the pricking of their conscience—these are vain, abominable, and cunning fleshly beliefs. This is because such beliefs follow the lust and greed of the flesh, which inevitably lead to the repetition of sin. Their purpose in believing in God is merely to seek their own happiness, blessings, success, and smooth prosperity—nothing more than a selfish faith. They are cunning in that they pursue their own desires and wishes, while at the same time wanting to enter heaven. Greed gives birth to sin, and sin gives birth to death and judgment. The reflections and repentance of Christians today, which are like meaningless diary entries of a child, are never the true repentance of rebirth in Christ.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;(Ephesians 5 : 3)(1 Samuel 12 : 21)
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.(Romans 13 : 14)
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.(1 Timothy 6 : 9~10)
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.(Proverbs 23 : 4)
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.(Psalms 115 : 4)(Proverbs 11 : 28)(Psalms 135 : 15)
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.(Ecclesiates 11 : 9~10)
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.(2 Timothy 2 : 22~23)
From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.(Psalms 17 : 14)
Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!(Isaiah 5 : 8)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.…(1 John 2 : 15~17)
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.(James 4 : 3~4)
The faith of all religious people today is the same in that they spend their entire lives seeking to resolve their family problems, business problems, job problems, children’s problems, relationship problems, and health problems—just like Esau—pursuing only their own happiness, success, blessings, and smooth prosperity. Because these are fleshly faiths that seek only the worldly concerns of the flesh, they are unable to receive the love of truth or even the opportunity to repent. The purpose of repentance and reflection is to no longer commit sin again. The repentance of Christ begins from the attitude of denying and abandoning the fleshly life that follows lust and greed, which inevitably leads to repeated sin. In other words, the repentance of Christians who feel regret and reflect, yet continue to live in a cycle of evil habits—repeating sin endlessly according to their personal interests—is never the true repentance of Christ. For a Christian who lives with the goal of the hope of Christ, following the love of the cross that sacrifices even one’s own life, there can never arise sin that follows greed and lust.
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.(Romans 13 : 8~10)
God’s shepherd is a shepherd of love who leads others to receive the power of God’s love that guides them to be set free from sin.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.(Romans 6 : 16~18)
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.(1 Peter 4 : 1~2)
….I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.(Jeremiah 23 : 17~22)
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.(James 5 : 19~20)
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.(Daniel 12 : 3)(Malachi 2 : 5~6)
….Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.(1 John 3 : 5~10)
The one who possesses the gift of power in which God’s power works united with love does not repeat sin. This is because it is a faith of Christ that follows the hope of Christ, with the goal of Christ’s love, which does not follow the lust and greed of the world and the flesh, and thus can escape the limitations of the flesh that inevitably lead to repeated sin. In other words, all Christians today who claim to believe in God and practice God’s love, yet live no differently from the people of the world by committing sin and repeating the cycle of regret and repentance, are those who serve God alongside the world and material things for the sake of their own greed. They are corrupted, heretical, and false, denying and dishonoring the love of Christ’s cross, driven by fleshly faith.
Those who deny and abandon all things of the world and the flesh that will decay and perish, and follow only the love of the cross, will manifest the power of love that is obtained in the love of Christ. Therefore, they cannot help but bear the fruit and evidence that follow the love of God. Only those who dwell in the love of God receive God’s power, wisdom, truth, grace, and salvation. Christians who only repeat sin are children of the devil, not children of God. So do not become a religious person shaped by human constructs—become a true Christian who follows love according to the holy will of God who created mankind.

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.(Romans 6 : 16~18)
