Today, countless believers, almost without exception, regard the act of listening, reading, and watching according to the order of service created by Christianity and Catholicism, and according to words, theories, and doctrines, as though it were worship offered to God, or as though it were a solemn and holy service rendered to Christ. Hardly anyone doubts this or raises questions about it. This is because, from the very beginning, instead of the Word that should have been the central foundation and standard, believers have been governed by ideas, theories, and doctrines based on false interpretations and explanations fabricated to justify this thieving form of worship. For this reason, believers are not able to easily discern right from wrong by comparing such things with the Word.
The worship and rituals of Christianity today are developments and inheritances of the ceremonies, customs, and ordinances handed down from the Roman Church, that is, Catholicism. And the Roman Church itself adopted its ceremonies and worship from the rites and worship of Judaism. Therefore, the first thing that must be done is to clearly and plainly discern whether the worship and rituals practiced in all churches today are truly the genuine worship and ordinances of Christ. Of course, countless believers believe in the worship and rituals practiced in their churches because they trust them and accept them as examples to follow. But just because the world approves of them, and just because many believers think they are right and rely on them, the worship and rituals carried out by religions, churches, and shepherds that are not practiced according to the Word can never be right.
God is the source of love. Therefore, God never desires worship services or rituals from mankind. He desires only our beautiful hearts, hearts that bear the love of the cross, resembling God and fitting for salvation. Yet the worship of Catholicism and Christianity today, instead of guiding people to form hearts that pursue the love of the cross and grow into the character of God by caring for one another, cherishing one another, and serving one another through good works and service that feed, give to, and care for poor and pitiful sheep through tithes and offerings, has become something else entirely. It is not the worship of the early church, which was led toward the fulfillment of such love. Rather, it has developed and inherited a form of worship like that of Judaism, a former and defective worship of theft that was abolished when the perfect love of the cross came to this earth. Yet hardly anyone doubts or questions this thieving worship of today.
This is because, from the beginning, instead of the love of the cross and the Word, which should have been the central foundation and standard, believers have been rationalized by traditions, ideas, theories, and doctrines based on false interpretations and explanations made to justify this thieving worship. For that reason, they are unable to easily judge what is right and wrong in comparison with the Word.
The purpose for which God created mankind was solely that they might become children of God, worthy of salvation. For this reason, all the Word, the Sabbath, shepherds, faith, hope, love, prayer, and grace exist. Therefore, God does not desire worship or incense offered by human hands. Rather, in order to lead us to salvation, He desires perfect love. Thus, the former worship of material offerings, being imperfect, was completely abolished through the blood of Christ in His perfection. Therefore, the blood that springs from the love of the cross is our way, our truth, and our life, by which we may become worthy children of God. Thus, the way of Christ that proceeds from the love of the cross is our eternal covenant in perfect completeness, a covenant that needs no worship service.
However, by stealing the tithes and offerings that were meant to feed the poor and pitiful sheep, the Roman Church revived the thieving worship of past Judaism in order to satisfy its own worldly power and desires. And by greedy men who used it as a tool to fill their own bellies and selfish ambitions, a thieving worship was established that instead dishonored the love, sacrifice, and blood of Christ, and this has continued to the present day.
From Genesis until the worship established in the time of Moses, through many prophets God gave forms and patterns of worship that were no more than a framework and outward model meant to teach the root and basic principles of serving God with full devotion and loyalty, even unto giving one’s life to Him. Through this worship, people were also led to awaken to and become conscious of their sins before God by means of the blood of the life of animals, so that they might feel in their hearts the meaning of worship for the forgiveness of sins. Yet this worship for the forgiveness of sins was not a sacrifice that could bring full repentance and true realization. And because repeated human sin made it impossible for this worship to accomplish complete forgiveness, God gave to this earth the perfect and complete blood and love. Therefore, the love of the cross and the blood are the covenant of our complete forgiveness of sins, and they are our way, our truth, and our life.
But today, the pastors and priests of Christianity and Catholicism, all alike, do not stand upon the content of the Word that teaches that the worship for the forgiveness of sins was abolished through the blood of Christ. Instead, they continue to practice unchanged the abolished worship of the former age reaching back to the time of Moses. This has happened because tithes and offerings, which were meant to accomplish the love of the cross by feeding, giving to, and caring for poor and pitiful sheep, and by causing people to care for, cherish, and serve one another through charity and service, thereby becoming like God and worthy of salvation, have been stolen by those who used them as a means to satisfy their own appetites, selfish ambitions, and desires. Because of this, the thieving worship, justified by sermons full only of words and theories, has been openly rationalized even to this day.
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:(Hebrews 10 : 1~11)
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.(Hebrews 9 : 7~10)
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.(1 Corinthians 13 : 9~10)
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.(Galatians 3 : 23~29)
Worship (sacrifice) was established so that, together with reverence toward God, forgiveness of sins might be accomplished. However, because the former worship offered through material offerings and the blood of animals could not bring the complete forgiveness of sins necessary for salvation, God sent the love of the cross to this earth. Therefore, through the one-time worship of Christ’s blood, the former imperfect worship of material offerings was abolished. And it was in order to make us into children worthy of attaining the salvation of true and complete forgiveness of sins that the love of the cross was sent. Thus, the love of the cross is the covenant of perfection, the true worship, the sign of salvation and resurrection, and the way, the truth, and the life that we must walk in.
The fundamental reason why God, who is the source of love, sent the love of the cross to this earth was solely so that we might fulfill the love of the cross, which is the divine nature that resembles God, and thereby be made complete as children of salvation, as children of God.
Yet even though that former imperfect worship has already been abolished, all churches of Christianity and Catholicism still carry it out to this day according to their order of service. This abolished worship was revived from above by Roman power and emperors, who used the thieving worship of Judaism as a pretext and made it a foundation for their own power and selfish ambition, passing through the Roman Church and eventually into Christianity as it exists today. Therefore, all worship services now are worships produced by false pretexts and excuses, created in order to steal the tithes and offerings that were meant to feed the sheep.
Rather than being teaching and learning that follow the love of the cross—through charity and service that feed, give to, and care for the sheep by means of tithes and offerings, and through which people care for one another, cherish one another, and serve one another—these worship services are instead governed by sermons that can do nothing but put words and theories first. For this worship, God holds every participant accountable for the sin of it. And thus today’s religions, churches, shepherds, and believers have become what they are—led by Satan and evil spirits, and filled with satanic tongues of divination and sorcery.
But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.(Matthew 12 : 7)
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.(Matthew 9 : 13)
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.(Hosea 6 : 6)
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.(Psalms 51 : 16~17)
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.(Isaiah 1 : 13~17)
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.(Psalms 40 : 6~8)
I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.(Amos 5 : 21~22)
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.(Hosea 2 : 13)
Those who say that they have received the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Christ—what, then, does the worship for the forgiveness of sins practiced today in the many churches of Christianity actually mean? Does it not in fact stand in opposition to, resist, deny, and make itself an enemy of the very teaching they themselves proclaim and teach as the blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins? Is it not an act of antichrist?
Also, where in Scripture is there any record or basis showing that any disciple of Christ practiced a worship service for the forgiveness of sins? When did God ever revive the worship that had been abolished through the blood of Christ? And from what point did sermons that merely put words and theories first become the holy and spiritual worship of Christ?
The teaching of the love of the cross and the blood is this: that you also, just as I did, should take up your own cross, and for the sake of your brothers and neighbors, follow the love and sacrifice of the cross by caring for one another, cherishing one another, and serving one another. And if you do so, all your former sins will be forgiven through the blood of Christ, and you will attain salvation. This is what Christ’s love of the cross, His blood, and His resurrection made known and demonstrated to all the earth.
And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.(Luke 14 : 25~27)
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.(1 Corinthians 1 : 17~21)
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.(Hebrews 6 : 4~8)
The reason they hold a worship service for the forgiveness of sins while at the same time putting forward the blood for the forgiveness of sins is this: the worship for the forgiveness of sins was something established in order to steal the tithes and offerings that were meant to feed, give to, and care for poor and pitiful sheep, and through charity and service to bring people into the love of the cross—caring for one another, cherishing one another, and serving one another—so that they might come to resemble God in a manner worthy of salvation, forming the divine nature, that is, the temple of the heart. Thus, this worship for the forgiveness of sins has been developed and handed down by thieves.
Accordingly, you must remember that what you are taking part in is nothing more than slavery, service, charity, office, and duty under those who are joined with thieves, helping an abominable and profane worship created to steal the tithes and offerings meant to feed poor and pitiful sheep. Rather than being faith aligned with God, it is faith that opposes God’s holy will and dishonors the blood of Christ. And you must remember that a sin committed knowingly is a grave sin, more serious than a sin committed in ignorance.
The true worship of Christ is this: to invite poor and pitiful sheep, and through the example of feeding them, giving to them, and sharing with them by means of tithes and offerings, to make known to believers and to all people the love of the cross, in which people care for one another, cherish one another, and serve one another. It is to form the divine nature that resembles God through this love of the cross, so that people may come to resemble God, who is the source of love, and be made into God’s eternal children. For this reason exist the Word, the Sabbath, faith, hope, apostles, shepherds, gifts, prophecy, and salvation.
Therefore, the true worship of Christ is a worship of love like that of the early church, in which the shepherd, before the sheep, feeds, gives to, and cares for poor and pitiful sheep through good works and charity, and through this leads believers to pursue the love of the cross—caring for one another, cherishing one another, and serving one another—so that they may build the beautiful temple of the heart, resembling God.
But like most churches today, they teach with words that people should feed others, share, and give, yet in reality they themselves are driven by selfish ambition and greed. Far from becoming an example and model, most churches have instead become objects of ridicule, because they show no true example, being filled with all kinds of lawlessness, falsehood, corruption, depravity, deceit, greed, and evil deeds.
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?(James 2 : 15~20)
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.(2 Peter 2 : 1~3)
And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.(Ezekiel 33 : 31)
Rather than being a spiritual worship that truly fulfills the love of the cross by following the highest law and the highest commandment through charity and service that feed, give to, and care for others, the thieving worship, traditions, customs, and ideologies of today were created merely to steal tithes and offerings. They are wrapped only in form and hypocrisy, clothed in an outward appearance that seems holy, solemn, or spiritual, but is nothing more than imitation and pretense. These things have been developed, handed down, and preserved even to this day by those who are like wolves in sheep’s clothing.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.(Acts 2 : 44~47)
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.(Acts 4 : 32~35)
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.(2 Corinthians 9 : 8~9)
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.(Pslams 112 : 9)
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.(Proverbs 14 : 31~32)
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.(Jeremiah 22 : 16)
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.(Proverbs 19 : 16~17)
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.(John 15 : 9~14)
Even while considering themselves Christians, or regarding themselves as apostles of God, or thinking of themselves as shepherds and office-bearers of Christ, or taking pride in having received the Holy Spirit, or believing themselves to be born again and forgiven of sins, or thinking that they have received gifts from God, or regarding themselves as those who have attained salvation—if they put forward only words, theories, and sermons, or teach others to feed, give, and share, yet do not themselves feed, give, and share, then their teaching and learning are altogether false. They are enemies that stand against God’s holy will; they are heresy, and they are antichrist. Therefore, there can be no excuse and no justification. For God is the source of love and the Spirit of love. Therefore, any ideals, values, shepherds, apostles, office-bearers, gifts, prophecies, faith, salvation, or believers that are not united with the love of the cross are, without exception, nothing more than dead faith that cannot possess the love of the cross worthy of salvation, vain religion, enemies, and adversaries.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.(Matthew 7 : 15)
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.(Isaiah 29 : 13~14)
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?(1 John 4 : 20)
Rather than being the true gospel and faith that, through charity and service—feeding, giving, and caring for others—follow the love of the cross, in which people care for one another, cherish one another, and love one another, thereby building the temple of the heart worthy of salvation, that is, the divine nature, these churches are instead governed by abominable traditions and worship fashioned for the purpose of stealing the tithes and offerings meant to feed poor and pitiful sheep. Therefore, such worship and prayers can only become those that are led by Satan, and as a result, satanic tongues inevitably continue to spread more and more as though they were the tongues and gifts of God. Thus, the Word has already testified that these churches and shepherds, who falsely claim to be the temple of God spoken of in Scripture while building temples with the tithes and offerings meant for the sheep and committing all kinds of evil deeds, will surely be judged.
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.(Malachi 3 : 7~9)
I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.(Zechariah 5 : 4)
And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.(Luke 21 : 5~6)
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.(Matthew 21 : 13)
Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.(Matthew 23 : 16~24)
Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.(Jeremiah 7 : 4~11)
The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the LORD GOD of hosts.(Isaiah 3 : 14~15)
Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness. They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart. The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace. They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.(Jeremiah 12 : 10~13)
What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.(Jeremiah 11 : 15~17)
Even the lament that says, “It is already the end times, the end times,” together with the lips that speak it, is itself proving that it is the end times. Therefore, all the words spoken above apply to each one of us in detail, and that is why we look at the Word and come to understand. For the Word exposes our weakness, our shame, and our sin, and leads us to what is fitting for true repentance, so that we may be led into becoming God’s complete children. Thus, it is the faith, hope, and love of Christ that arise from good works which follow the love of the cross.
I earnestly hope that you will not become a soul that, holding instead to a forced faith bound together by worldly interpretations, denies and opposes the Word of God, and is led by its own strained interpretations, false explanations, and assertions into vain worship, becoming an enemy through a faith worse than unbelief itself, and so comes under the poured-out price of the blood of God’s apostles from the foundation of the world, and of Christ and His apostles, becoming a soul that can only go toward destruction and judgment.
Those who killed Christ and His apostles were, without exception, shepherds, office-bearers, and men of duty who claimed that they believed in God. Their destruction has continued from the foundation of the world even unto this day of judgment. Thus, there are only those who test the longsuffering and lovingkindness of God—but where indeed is the one who truly knows the greatness of God’s mercy and grace?
